I have owned alot of 3rd gen Smith's, they are great pistols. I have a 5906 I us in IDPA and have been looking for a 6906 for CCW

From what I've read alot of the schools have stopped the use of the serpa, not due to ad's but under harsh training conditions dirt or small trash can get in behind the release and cause the pistol to be stuck in the holster.

It should be a great turn out.

I hope you don't need any parts, the customer service is a JOKE. The pistols are great, but they have forgotten great customer service goes along with a good product.

I just filed a complaint with the BBB over the restriction of the sear and or sear block assembly. I work in the manufacturing industry and would not every think about not letting a customer buying a needed part. I believe everybody that has needed a sear assembly and S&W refused to sell the part to them should file a complaint with the BBB and whoever else will listen.

Shoot what ever you are comfort with. I have carry both 9mm and 45 acp, either will perform with well placed shots.
