  1. Cops would be called and I'd park on the street a few houses up until they got there.
  2. My condolences to Mrs. Claus.
  3. Always been a fan of the guns used in Heat as well as the downtown bank robbery scene.
  4. I think it's kinda cool. I can think of a bunch of guns I'd buy before that particular gun, but I'd have one.
  5. 230gr Hornady TAP. Feeds nicely in everything.
  6. I have some Oakley SI Square Wire that are polarized: Ray Ban 8304 - light as a feather: And then some huge douchebag rainbow mirrored aviators that were $5 at Walmart. More for comedic value. Similar to the top ones:
  7. Good thoughts.
  8. Hai, welcome. Where in MN? I have relatives in western MN and have spent many summers shooting there. It is where I first started shooting when I was 5 years old.
  9. Yeah, I've seen enough beef jerky, Ching Chong fake police & HCP badges, and BDU's for a lifetime. I haven't been to a circus.. er.. gun show in years. All the gun buying and selling one needs can be done right here on TGO <3
  10. I heard they cover the infield at Yankee Stadium with Bass Reeves' foreskin!
  11. Front pocket of whatever I'm wearing. No holster. Hammerless. Unless your pockets are as deep as the Grand Canyon, I don't see the need for a pocket holster. My gun doesn't rotate around in my pocket. In my truck it's in the open floor console. In my Marauder it's in the front seat pocket.

  13. That's fine. The way I read it, you carried the FMJ first so that if you shot yourself (either "accidentally" or "negligently" or whatever other word from the dictionary one chooses), it wouldn't do as much damage as a hollow point. Perhaps I interpreted what you wrote incorrectly. If I did, then I apologize. My feelings on gun safety are that if you imagine that if you have an accidental charge, it's going to kill someone you love. If you think like that, you will be so conscious of safety that you will never have an accidental or neglegent discharge, and therefore would have no need to worry what kind of round is coming out of the barrel first.
  14. No tinfoil hat here. Handle the firearm safely and you won't shoot yourself. That's it. It has nothing to do with the ammo choice. It's the reason for the ammo choice: You are concerned about accidentally discharging the firearm. It's pretty easy for that to not happen. See the video I posted above.
  15. My opinion is that if you feel the need to load a gun where the first round fired is going to do less damage to YOUR OWN BODY than the other rounds loaded in it because you feel like you may accidentally shoot yourself, you shouldn't own/handle/carry firearms. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uytPO0UaDM
  16. I don't have any sons or daughters
  17. I thought this was going to be about auto gun safes. So just in case anyone else thinks like me: Google
  18. I would love to visit that place.
  19. That doesn't "count" legally, but with Tennessee's employment laws the way they are, if someone saw your gun, you could be fired on the spot. Situations like this are why the J-frame was built - If nobody can see it, nobody can tattle.
  20. People are more likely to drink the egg nog if you have Clark Griswold's moose mugs. I would have had some today, but there no moose mugs, so I didn't.
  21. Similar to what's in this photo.. I'll have no fixed front sight on my next one, but I would like enough rail room for a flipup front sight on it as well.
  22. Good thread. I'll be building my next AR as well. I love the round foregrips as opposed to the stock plastics or a rail system. What's the going consensus as far as which one is the best bang for the buck?
  23. Have you tried the Reloader's Bench in Mt. Juliet? It might be worth giving them a call. They sell guns, etc, but specialize in (gasp) reloading supplies. They literally have bins of bullets sitting out. It's just north of I-40 at the Mt. Juliet Rd. exit.
  24. I would love to spectate that.
  25. Hammerless J-frame in your front pants pocket, and unless there are metal detectors, nobody will ever know. Not that I would do such a thing... There is nothing at all in our employee policy about weapons.
