  1. Well it's easy to say you wouldn't work somewhere you can't carry when you already work someplace where you can carry: A firearms training center. Let's list jobs where you can carry 24/7: -Law enforcement -Gun store -Firearms training center -Your own business -Handful of small companies where the owner is pro-gun and would allow someone to carry. I'm sure I missed a few. It's unrealistic for most people to expect to be able to carry at work. That's not saying you can't. That's what Kel Tecs and S&W scandium J-frame revolvers are for
  2. They were doing electronic printing when I got mine in 02.
  3. Yea, I'm going to call BS on the Clinton/gunpowder rumor.
  4. Cool, same avatar
  5. Thanks. Nothing at all. I want to try some different sights.
  6. What's going on guy? It took me about 4 weeks to get my permit in the mail after getting printed. That was back in '02.
  7. Academy in Rivergate has the CCI 9mm 50rd boxes for $5.69. That's a decent price.. I'll give the Monarch a try, too. It's time to stock up before the prices of those increase, too.
  8. Has anyone had experience with this?
  9. This is a great start
  10. I like them both.
  11. Which Academy? The one in cool springs has it for $5.60something and has for a while.
  12. I want to replace the sights on my XD-9. I don't specifically need low profile or night sights since I don't carry this gun.. it's just a gun for going out and shootin' ****. What can I get for around $50? What's the best way to replace them? Obviously you disassemble, but then is the slide put in a vice (with padding) while the sights are hammered out? What's the best tool to use with a hammer to get sights in/out with?
  13. I like Fobus too. I had one for my G36, and now I have one for my XD45.
  14. Is that for a 50 round box? If it is I'm seriously going to go in there tomorrow and buy $100 worth.
  15. eh............
  16. By the way, the Colts are going to get spanked today.
  17. In the winter that's not much of a problem for me, but that XD-45 is kinda hard to conceal when I'm in shorts and a t-shirt. I will be getting a scandium J frame .357 before summer.
  18. I was just at my mom's in Johnson City last weekend. I love that part of the state.
  19. I shot that new XD-9 I got at Stones River yesterday, and I was surprised at how snappy it is compared to my XD-45. Of course the 45 has more recoil but the recoil of the 9mm really wasn't that much less. I guess because the XD-9 is on a smaller overall platform the recoil is more pronounced. Not that the recoil of either one is a problem
  20. Hey man, welcome!
  21. Yea, that blows about the price of ammo. With the price of copper skyrocketing over the past year, it's only natural that the prices of ammo would follow soon. I finally built a reloading bench.. it's time to get some reloading equipment. Also, pick up a nice 9mm to play around with. The ammo costs half what .45 ACP does.
  22. Well TN is great. On top of being a very gun-friendly state, there is no state income tax! There are lots of nice places to live around Nashville.
  23. Someone followed the link! Welcome.
  24. Not really a bug but 10 characters as a minimum in the Quick Reply box is a little high.. maybe make it 1 charcter or something.
  25. What's up? Got any tools to sell? I'm still pissed you got Tungsten's Glock! That's ok, I got a new gun too!
