  1. Have you worn a Flexfit hat, Brian?. You don't even know there is any elastic there. It's just the most comfortable hat in the world, that's all.
  2. Yea, I shot it two weekends ago. I blew 100 rounds through it and it was superb right out of the box. Man, those Kimber mags are some POS... That much for a gun and they are still giving the stamped steel mags out with it. That being said, it cycled the WWB fine, and a few Hydrashoks. @ 10 yards it blew the center out of the target, 15 was within 3 inches, and 25 yards, everything was within 6 inches. I'll take pics next time I shoot it. I also want to shoot from sandbags to see how well it does when I factor myself out. I like doing that. It's fun to shoot stuff at long distances with handguns. At the gun club I am a member of, there is a 300 yard rifle range which goes uphill starting at about 150 yards. At 200 yards there is a 1x2" steel plate painted white on a dirt bank. I used to take shots at it with my XD-45 and rarely hit it.. I have a feeling this one will do much better. I love the 25 degree angle you have to hold a .45 at in order for the bullet to make it to the target at that distance
  3. I was in Minnesota there.. no handgun carry Keith likes men.
  4. The only hat I wear now is a Flexfit hat. It fits perfectly. This is a Flexfit hat:
  5. Edit: D'oh, didn't see above about t-shirts. I like Polo shirts. I don't wear custom hats too much unless I can try them on first. Most are "tall" and I don't like that train engineer look.
  6. I wouldn't have a problem with it.
  7. Hey, how's it going? I have been to the Stones River range probably 10 times total over the past year, shotting everything from .22s, .357, 45, 9mm, .30-06, to my AR-15. It's a great range and even though I'm a member at Gallatin Gun Club, Stones River is still my backup range in case they are having an event or I want to shoot with a group. Is the hunter education building completed?
  8. My Doctor's name is Gaston.
  9. I'm going to put sights on it, maybe a mag well, and then leave it alone. I can't think of anything else I would want to do to it.
  10. Canceled, or never even planned?
  11. Just remember, that fuse is a 15 amp for a reason. Replacing it with a higher amperage could cause damage in the future when it shorts again, ie, melted wires or possibly even fire. The fuse is the weak link, it's designed to pop before damage to anything.
  12. Well I'm once again a Glock owner. I bought my old 36 back from my friend today. I can't wait to shoot it again!
  13. I always thought white LX hatches with Draglites looked really, really damn good.
  14. Yea, I would inspect that trailer harness. Make sure there is nowhere in the connectors where water is getting in and corroding the wires. It may not be the problem, but since your problem is involving blinkers and parking lights, it's likely to be the cause of the problem.
  15. Hey, what's up? I have an XD-9, too, and it's a fun gun to shoot. It is my carry gun at the moment.
  16. Do you by any chance have a trailer light harness on the vehicle?
  17. Thanks man. I'd love to have another one to drive every day.

  19. If you decide to go to GGC, let me know. I'm off today and it's not too much trouble I'd like someone familiar to show me the ropes of the system there real quick so I can shoot by myself. I PM'd you my number. If you cant or are too busy no big deal
  20. Five Glocks! And you haven't shot yourself yet

    Glock Safety

I never understood how people shot themselves while cleaning guns. The first thing you do is MAKE SURE IT'S NOT LOADED! I think by "make sure it's not loaded" a lot of people say "well I don't remember it being loaded when I had it out last, so it must not be loaded now."

    Glock Safety

Well, re-read my post. I said "Someone could argue." Not, "The 1911 is not safe." Meaning you can pick any particular thing about just about any object in existance and claim it's not safe. Please don't make it look like I'm picking on any particular gun, or any gun at all. My stance is that modern guns are safe. Glocks, 1911s, XDs are all safe guns. It's the users who are not safe. Hell, I just bought a 1911 yesterday

    Glock Safety

Still, it comes down to not having your finger on the trigger unless you're pulling it on purpose. Someone could argue that a 1911, even though it has a manual safety, is more dangerous because if someone has one in the chamber and the hammer back, and forgets to engage the safety, the trigger is more sensitive than a Glock.

    Glock Safety

Marswolf, do you believe any of these accidents would have occured had the operator only had his finger on the trigger with the gun pointed downrange? You mentioned something about this above but didn't elaborate. This is coming from a non-Glock religionist, but someone who has owned a Glock and not shot himself with it.
