I've been considering one of these as my next 1911.   What do you think about the flat trigger?  I've never shot anything with such a trigger.

Ah, recently as in over 10 years ago.  It's been terrible for a while.

Welp, called October 6th.  It was mailed out less than a week after I sent the renewal paperwork and payment in, but I never received the permit.  I was asked to fax some information to the HCP office, so I did so.   I still did not have a replacement Monday, so I called and talked to someone who was not very helpful.  Said they had no record of my fax, and seemed generally unwilling to help or expedite the process seeing as my permit expires at the end of this month.   Today I called back, got someone different who was very helpful, acknowledged that they had indeed received my fax on Oct 6, printed my info and handed the info to her supervisor personally.  She called me back a couple hours later to say that my permit was in the queue to be printed, which is the last step before being mailed.  Should be here in 7-14 days.  VERY helpful.  Wanted to call me tomorrow as well.   What I learned is that in the HCP office, if you get someone who isn't helpful, call back later.   You'll get someone else hopefully, and hopefully that person will be helpful.

Just bought one from a member. I have yet to shoot it, but being a Sig, I know what to expect. It's a quality gun. $300 for a Sig 9mm that's 15+1. Lots of Euro police/govt agencies use them as their standard issue sidearm. I don't think you can even get a used Glock 17 or 19 for that price. Even a heavily used piece.

They're the price of a decent AR-15, which many people on this site have.  Sure, they used to be cheaper, but what didn't? 

Lots of forum posts get edited.  This particular website doesn't have the 10 minute grace period that most do, so you see "Edited" whether someone went and completely changed the substance of their post, or just went back to make a simple change such as correcting a spelling or grammar mistake.

Because it's in Snopes interest to have false information on their website about that one cheerleader ####ting all over the other cheerleaders during a stunt at a game, and the prospective new gang members being initiated by killing the drivers of cars who flash their headlights at them.   :ugh: :squint: :rofl:   Snopes is an urban legend-debunking site.
