  1. As far as handguns or rifles I always use FedEx to ship them. So far I have not had any issues with FedEx. A couple of years ago I was shipping a complete JP Enterprises CTR upper to Hawaii. Since it was just the upper I went to my local UPS store to ship. I was told that this UPS store does not like to ship any firearms related items and I would needed to go to the main UPS location to ship.

If I were you I would keep the M&P 2.0 also. For parts you can purchase trigger kits from CZ Customs or Cajun Gun Works. You can also send the gun to them and they will take care of the options you want. Enjoy your new CZ.
  3. Enjoy your new Rifle!!
  4. http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2018/04/26/holy-grail-guns-made-company-sells-4-5m-pistols-made-from-4-5-billion-year-old-meteorite.html Talk about out of this world. Cabot Guns, a high-end weapons company, is selling the most expensive guns ever made, a pair of handguns made from a 4.5 billion-year-old meteorite, SWNS reports. The pair is priced at $4.5 million. Known as the "Big Bang Pistol Set," the guns were forged from metals found in the Gibeon meteorite, which fell in Namibia and is named for the nearest town after it was discovered in 1836 by English captain J. E. Alexander. US MILITARY'S MYSTERIOUS X-37B SPACE PLANE SPOTTED BY SATELLITE TRACKERS Rob Bianchin, founder and president of Indiana-based Cabot Guns, said the guns have received plenty of attention for how they were made. "I have been told by many collectors and experts that The Big Bang Pistol set are the 'holy grail' of collectable firearms," Bianchin said in comments obtained by SWNS. "These will be the crown jewel of any collection — they will appeal to both firearm collectors as well as those fascinated with space and engineering." Bianchin noted that, "Gibeon meteorite [metals] exhibit the most desirable crystalline pattern and are the most desired of all iron meteorites." Other items have been made from the Gibeon meteorite, including rings, bracelets and earrings. The M1911 military-style pistols, similar to weapons used in WWI and WWII, are coated with a tanned-metallic rock and have the "Widmanstätten" on it. They are said to be attracting interest from far and wide, including a "hedge fund billionaire, a tech mogul, an industrialist and a royal." "Man has been crafting weapons since the dawn of time, it predates speech," Bianchin said. "I don't believe anything more outrageous or complex in a pistol can trump this."
  5. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/03/18/uproar-after-new-jersey-high-school-allegedly-suspends-students-over-gun-range-photo.html FoxNews.com A New Jersey high school came under fire Friday after it allegedly suspended two students over a gun photo taken during a family visit to a shooting range. News of the unnamed students' suspension circulated through a Lacey Township Facebook group, according to NJ.com. Amanda Buron, a Lacey resident and family friend of one of the suspended students said one of the photos shared on SnapChat featured four rifles, magazines, and a gun duffel with the caption "fun day at the range," NJ.com reported. Buron said the two students received a five-day in-school suspension after the picture drew the attention of Lacey Township High School officials, who argued that it violated the school’s policy on weapons possession. The school district shortly faced community backlash for the alleged suspension, with many calling for people to appear at the school board's next meeting on Monday to protest the decision. The school, however, denied the students were suspended over the picture. "Information posted on social media is incorrect,” Lacey schools Superintendent Craig Wigley told the publication last week. The officials declined to provide any additional details or point out what exactly was false. The controversy brought the attention of a New Jersey gun advocacy group that sent the school district a cease and desist letter and threatened with a lawsuit if it does not overturn the suspension of the students and change the policies regarding the Second Amendment. The Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs (ANJRPC) said in a letter that the school’s policies allow suspending students for up to a year if they are "reported to be in possession of a weapon of any type for any reason or purpose on or off school grounds." "Information posted on social media is incorrect." - Lacey schools Superintendent Craig Wigley “The policy is clearly wrong and violates the Second Amendment. We hope that they're reasonable people and they will fix it. If they don't, we're prepared to take legal action,” ANJRPC executive director Scott Bach told NJ.com. The group also demands the school to apologize to the two suspended teens. “Schools do not have the authority to chill the rights of their students off of school grounds, and this blatant infringement of constitutional rights will not be tolerated," Bach added. "I don't care if no students were disciplined. The policy has got to go." Overtly broad policies of the school district have been criticized in the past. Ed Cardinal, whose son attends a school in the same district, said the officials once demanded his son to remove a window sticker of a gun from his pickup truck that he drives to school. "He was kind of heated about it and so was I," Cardinal said. They abided by the demands and removed sticker after the district threatened to punish the teen.
  6. https://www.theblaze.com/news/2018/04/23/parkland-survivor-questioned-by-officers-after-going-to-gun-range-with-his-father-to-learn-to-shoot Parkland student and Second Amendment advocate Kyle Kashuv told The Daily Wire he was questioned by school security officers on Monday, after they became aware that he had visited a gun range with his father on Friday. Kyle posted pictures from his trip to the range, complete with a tweet: But when he returned to school on Monday, he was pulled out of class and told to meet with two school security officers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Kyle says the officers questioned him “intensely,” saying: “First, they began berating my tweet, although neither of them had read it; then they began aggressively asking questions about who I went to the range with, whose gun we used, about my father, etc. They were incredibly condescending and rude.” Then, a Broward County sheriff’s deputy joined them and asked the same questions. Kyle asked if he could record the discussion, and was told he could not. After asking if he had done anything wrong, the teen says the officers answered that he had not. Kashuv said that eventually, he asked why he had been called in to speak with them. “One said, ‘Don’t get snappy with me, do you not remember what happened here a few months ago?” Kyle also said that one of the officers referred to him as the “pro-Second Amendment kid.” He said he was further asked by one of the officers, “Kyle, you have such good grades, why would you do this?” While other Parkland students have asked for gun control in response to the mass murder that occurred at their school on February 14, Kyle has pointed to the failing of law enforcement in the incident, saying that guns aren’t the problem. In a tweet responding to his questioning, he said, “This is outrageous. Instead of looking for solutions or holding their own department accountable for countless failures, @browardsheriff’s officers are now harassing kids with views they don’t like. That department desperately needs new leadership and accountability.”
  7. I had a opportunity to shoot one on my local range and was very surprised how great the gun felt in my had and nice the trigger felt.

  10. Just got the information also. I liked the Gunny. He will be missed. Semper fi!!
  11. Sorry for the multiple post. It didn't go through at first.
  12. Yes the Shadow 2 is too heavy for IDPA. The limit is 43oz and the Shadow 2 weights 46.5oz. To shoot in IDPA I would recommend the CZ Custom Shop CZ 75 SP01 Custom (SKU91030) which can be shot in Production and ESP Divisions. You could also look at the CZ Custom Shop CZ 75 SP01 Accu Shadow (SKU91730) which can be used in ESP Division only. Both guns can be used in USPSA Production.
  13. Just a heads up. GilbertsGuns is out of stock at this time, but their price is $499.99 for the gun. https://www.gilbertsguns.com/sig-p365-9mm-pistol-with-3-1-barrel-night-sights-2-10-round-magazines.html
  14. DEGUNS has the standard magazine for $44.99. https://www.deguns.net/searchresults.asp?Search=Sig+Sauer+P365+9mm+Nitron&Submit=
  15. They must have sold out already. I just went to Bud's and they show out of stock.
  16. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/bank-of-america-to-stop-lending-money-to-makers-of-assault-rifles/ar-AAvJ0Ah "I guess my Bass Pro Credit Card from Bank of America will end" Bank of America Corp. said Tuesday that it will no longer lend money to companies that manufacture military-style assault weapons for civilian use, in the hopes the move will contribute to a reduction in the number of mass shootings nationwide. Anne Finucane, Bank of America’s vice chairman, said in an interview on Bloomberg TV that the bank has notified the handful of gun manufacturers it does business with about the decision. It would not name the companies affected by the decision. “We want to contribute in any way we can to reduce these mass shootings — it’s such a tragedy in the United States,” Finucane said. “We do have a few manufacturers of military-style firearms . . . We have let them know that it’s not our intent to underwrite or finance military-style firearms on a go-forward basis.” When asked whether the bank also would stop doing business with retailers that sell assault weapons, Finucane said it would involve complicated issues related to civil liberties and the Second Amendment. “That’s a good public dialogue, that’s a ways off,” she said. Reaction from gun manufacturers that do business with Bank of America was “mixed,” Finucane said. “Let’s just leave it at that,” she said. In late February — not long after the shootings that left 17 people dead at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. — Bank of America asked gun makers that sell assault rifles to come up with suggestions for preventing such incidents. “An immediate step we’re taking is to engage the limited number of clients we have that manufacture assault weapons for non-military use to understand what they can contribute to this shared responsibility,” the Charlotte, N.C.-based bank said in a statement at the time.
  17. For your information if you are interested in competition shooting you can shoot USPSA, IDPA, Steel Challenge, and 3-Gun at MSSA even though you are not a member of the club. Non members are charged $12 to shoot the match.
  18. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/illinois-town-votes-to-ban-assault-rifles-fine-violators-1000-per-day/ The mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida has once again ignited the public debate around assault weapons and large capacity magazines. And while no sweeping gun control laws have been enacted at the federal level, one town in Illinois is taking matters into its own hands. The Chicago suburb of Deerfield, Illinois voted on Monday to ban the possession, sale, and manufacture of assault weapons and large capacity magazines to "increase the public's sense of safety." What's more, CBS Chicago reports, anyone refusing to give up their banned firearm will be fined $1,000 a day until the weapon is handed over or removed from the town's limits. The ordinance states, "The possession, manufacture and sale of assault weapons in the Village of Deerfield is not reasonably necessary to protect an individual's right of self-defense or the preservation or efficiency of a well-regulated militia." So, beginning June 13, banned assault weapons in Deerfield will include semiautomatic rifles with a fixed magazine and a capacity to hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition, shotguns with revolving cylinders, and conversion kits from which assault weapons can be assembled. And those are just a few of the firearm varieties banned. The list is long and includes all the following models or duplicates thereof: AK, AKM, AKS, AK-47, AK-74, ARM, MAK90, Misr, NHM 90, NHM 91, SA 85, SA 93, VEPR, AR-10, AR-15, Bushmaster XM15, Armalite M15, Olympic Arms PCR, AR70, Calico Liberty, Dragunov SVD Sniper Rifle, Dragunov SVU, Fabrique NationalFN/FAL, FN/LAR, FNC, Hi-Point Carbine, HK-91, Kel-Tec Sub Rifle, SAR-8, Sturm, Ruger Mini-14, and more. Antique handguns that have been rendered permanently inoperable and weapons designed for Olympic target shooting events are exempt, as are retired police officers. "We hope that our local decision helps spur state and national leaders to take steps to make our communities safer," Deerfield Mayor Harriet Rosenthal said in a press release, after the ban on assault weapons passed unanimously. The nearby suburb of Highland Park passed a similar ban in 2013, which was contested as unconstitutional by one of the city's residents and the Illinois State Rifle Association. Ultimately, however, the ordinance was upheld in court.
  19. Published April 05, 2018 FoxNews.com Students in Colorado who support the Second Amendment staged their own walkout Wednesday, in an effort to counter the pro-gun control rallies taking place across the nation following the deadly shooting at a Florida high school in February. Students at Woodland Park High School, an hour north of Pike’s Peak, began the 30-minute pro-Second Amendment rally with a moment of silence for victims of past school shootings. “I don’t believe that guns are the problem,” said student Haley Armstead. “I think it's more of the people and that people are trying to blame an inanimate object for something that's not them.” Another student, Christian Garcia, told FOX 21 more armed officers and trained teachers would “stop” or “prevent” further school shootings. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PLAN PRO-LIFE WALKOUT AFTER GUN DEBATE While student-organized and with no affiliation to the high school, the school district did allow the students to walk out and provided increased security through the police department. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/04/05/colorado-students-feeling-silenced-by-pro-gun-control-activists-hold-second-amendment-rally.html The rally comes days after students in Central Florida organized a similar protest in support of the Second Amendment after they felt silenced when the movement to honor the Parkland shooting victims turned political. “I’m pro-Second Amendment,” Rockledge High School junior and protest organizer Anna Delaney told WFTV. "I wouldn’t mind deeper background checks, of course, but the Second Amendment will not be infringed upon.” PARKLAND SURVIVOR KYLE KUSHAV ON MEETING TRUMP, HIS APP TO PREVENT ANOTHER SCHOOL SHOOTING Students walked onto the school’s track carrying the American flag and holding signs that read “guns don’t kill people, people kill people” and “I support the right to bear arms.” Another student said he participated to show that not all students are for gun control. “It’s all over the news right now that all students hate guns,” Zachary Schneider said. “I wanted to show that not all students feel that way.” Nikolas Cruz opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., on February 14, killing 17 and injuring another 17 people. Last month he was indicted on more than a dozen counts of murder. In the weeks following the shooting, students across the country held a National Walkout Day, pushing for stricter gun laws. Nearly two weeks ago, thousands of people across the country held the “March for Our Lives” rally sponsored by the survivors of the Parkland school shooting.
  20. I shoot USPSA PCC division with a JP Enterprise GMR-15. This may be the best overall 9mm rifle out there. I have 2571 rounds through mine at this point without any issues. There are two models of the JP and they are the GMR-15 which locks back on the last round or the GMR-13 which does not lock back on the last round. You can also get the JP with a side charger handle, but that is an extra $600 option. I purchased mine from Shooters Connection for $1811.00. They are a little pricey but will worth the money. Others I have seen work well are the Sig MPX models and the CZ Scorpion EVO from the CZ Custom shop. A new one on the market, but I have not see in action is the MBX Pro Series PPC Rifle. Shooters Connection just put three of these on their website today.
