I picked up a new Glock 41 Gen 4 at the local gun show this last weekend. Changed out the sights with Warren Tactical/Sevigny Rear and Dawson Fiber Optic Front. I plan on taking it to the range this afternoon to see how she shoots. I also contacted Storm Lake Barrels this morning and a representative for Storm Lake told me that they just got the barrel for the Glock 41 and will be producing an aftermarket barrel as soon as they can. I will have a range report later today.

Smith & Wesson and Strum, Ruger are going to stop selling their guns in California because of new bullet stamping requirement. The two companies have announced they will stop selling their wares in the nation's most populous state rather than try to comply with a law that requires some handguns to have technology that imprints a tiny stamp on the bullet so it can be traced back to the gun. The companies, and many gun enthusiasts, say so-called "microstamping" technology is unworkable in its present form and can actually impair a gun's performance. Night stand guns caliber and capacity

Glock 21 Gen4 with weapon light and two 13 round magazines. -
I have a few Glocks and more seem to show up all the time. My Glock 21 Gen4 is one of my favorite handguns. I am on my second Glock 21 Gen4 because I sold the first one I purchased to fund another 1911. I knew I made a big mistake and last week purchased my second Glock 21 Gen4 and this one will be a keeper. If you purchase the Glock 21 you will not regret it. I also got my new GSSF coupon in yesterday. It may be time for another Glock.

I just read this on Fox News Website. http://www.foxnews.com

I love 1911's but I will never give up my Glocks. My Glock 19 Gen4 is my everyday carry and I trust my life to it. Your wife will enjoy her handgun and so will you.

I have owned three M&P's in the past, but sold them. I just love my Glocks.

On April 22 I renewed my carry permit at Millington's Department of Motor Vehicles. As of today I still have not received my new carry permit. I did call Nashville last month and was told they are behind because of the demand for carry permits. Has anyone else had this problem? I finally received my Handgun Carry Permit in the mail this afternoon. I took a long 3 months to get here.

RWF Thank you I will do that.

Hello RWF You are correct it was the gas block. I just got back from the range and made adjustments to the gas block until the bolt locked back. After that the gun functioned perfectly. Thanks for all your help folks. Have a great weekend.

I was just doing some research and I was looking at the problem of the rifle being undergassed. The Low Mass Buffer will help, but I believe you are correct on the gas issue. I will go to the range later today and see if that is the problem. The rifle was having the same problem with the M&P Full Mass bolt in it. The gas issue may be it. Thanks will update.

I am a novice when it comes to AR-15 and would like to get some feedback on a problem I am having with a new upper I purchased. I purchased a JP CTR-02 Low Mass Upper this week and have had nothing but problems with the upper. I placed the upper on a S&W M&P Lower. I took it to the range yesterday and was only able to shoot one or two rounds out of the rifle before it would either jam or not chamber a rounds at all. The rifle will also not lock back on the last round shot. I am using Magpul 20 round magazines and was shooting Remington UMC 55 gr .223. I did find out that the low mass upper does require a low mass buffer, which I have on order. I am not sure if this will correct the problems. This morning I put the M&P bolt into the JP upper and was still having the same issue. If anyone has any idea's what may be causing the problem it would be helpful. I have sent an email to JP and will try to connect them on Monday. Thank you

From what I can tell 4 Republicans voted for the bill. Only four Republican senators committed to voting for the amendment ahead of time. The last was Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who announced his support Wednesday afternoon. The other three were Toomey, Sen. Mark Kirk of Illinois and Sen. Susan Collins of Maine. I received this email this morning. Tennessee: House Approves School Security Measure Yesterday, House Bill 6, sponsored by state Representative Eric Watson (R-22), passed in the Tennessee House of Representatives by an overwhelming 82 to 15 vote. Its companion bill, Senate Bill 570, passed in the Senate Finance, Ways and Means Committee on Monday by a 6 to 2 vote and is scheduled for consideration on the Senate floor tomorrow. It is important that you contact your state Senator and respectfully urge him or her to support Senate Bill 570. House Bill 6/Senate Bill 570 would allow a person employed or assigned to a Local Education Agency to possess and carry a firearm on the grounds of that school if they are current or former law enforcement. The individual would also be required to have a Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit (HCP) and the written authorization of the director of schools. This legislation would provide parents and teachers peace of mind during the school day, and allow for an important measure of defense for protecting students and faculty should the need arise. Please contact your state Senator TODAY and respectfully ask him or her to support SB 570 so that our children and teachers are provided the opportunity to stay safe in schools. Contact information for your state Senator can be found here.

I plan on shooting next week at Little Rock and wanted to make sure the magwell was legal for ESP. CASA does inspect the guns during their competitions. -
