  3. The Glock has always felt good in my hands.  I shoot Glocks competitively and I can get a good solid grip on the gun.
  4.   How about if "NO" wins CNN will stop talking about gun control.

  6. Got my NO vote in.
  7. Good looking shooter.  You will enjoy it.
  8.  The gun was a .38 caliber two shot Derringer, loaded with one live round in his pants pocket. Police say the gun fell out of his pocket and discharged when it hit the floor.
  9. I just saw this on the news.  This makes it bad for all permit holders.
  10. This is the kind of stuff that is going to stop everyone from carry a firearm anywhere in this county.  If Tennessee would have let people to carry a firearm without a carry permit as long as they carried opened all doors would have been closed to us.  Stop the stupidity.
  11. I agree.  That is one beautiful revolver.
  12. Always one in the chamber.  Period!!!!!
  13. I have owned up to seven Glocks, but I am down to four at this time.  I will be adding a new one to the collection real soon because my GSSF purchase card is making me buy another one.
  14. I do carry a S&W 642 on occasion, but most of the time the smallest gun I carry is my Glock 30S.  I do carry my Wilson Combat X-Tac often and really like the feel of a full size gun.  I have a great holster for the Wilson and can carry it all day.
  15. I have seen several people carrying at Walmart and Bass Pro.  I have also spotted a couple of people carrying at our local Kroger.
  16. I pretty much carry all the time.
  17. I was just a Cabela's website and they have a limited supply of Hodgdon Varget available right now.     I checked back at 11:00pm and they have sold out.
  18. The title is from a NBC Lib reporter.    Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal signed a new gun law Wednesday that greatly expands the number of public places where licensed owners are allowed to carry their weapons. Critics have called the law “extreme,” while the National Rifle Association lauded it as an “historic victory for the Second Amendment. What does the Safe Carry Protection Act really do? Here’s a brief list of the major changes ahead for Georgians when the law takes effect July 1:   Link to full story:  http://www.nbcnews.com/news/investigations/what-georgias-extreme-new-gun-law-allows-n87491

  20. On my first Gen 4's I received 3 magazines and two back straps.  The newer Gen 4's that I have purchased still come with 3 magazines and now have two more additional back straps with the extended beavertail.
  21. A Missouri gun manufacturer says it plans to release a "New York Compliant" AR-15 rifle in response to tough gun control measure passed by New York lawmakers last year banning the sale of assault weapons in the state.   The company, Black Rain Ordnance, said the rifle would eliminate features that were made illegal under the SAFE Act. The gun will not have a pistol grip and will include a non-threaded muzzle and a 10-round low-capacity approved magazine.    Here is a link to the full story.  http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/04/05/missouri-gun-company-to-sell-new-york-compliant-ar-15-rifle/
  22. I had an EMP in 9mm and really liked it.  I sold it to fund a race gun which I haven't been able to shoot since our local range has been down for an upgrade over the last few months, but it is a very nice carry piece.
  23. I am not sure if this story has been discussed on TGO, but found this story this afternoon.  Man found guilty for having one shotgun shell and a few muzzle loading bullets in his home.  Follow the link to hear the whole story.   http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=044_1396030607
  24. I was on Massab Ayoob's blog page tonight and thought this might be interesting for all to see. These are several 1911's made by Cabot Gun Company out of Pennsylvania. Cabot Guns President and Gun Designer Rob Bianchin had been contemplating the project for some time and wanted to use scrimshaw to detail the work. “As the guns are positioned in opposite directions, the grips show President Barack Obama facing to the left while President George W. Bush faces right,” said Bianchin. “While oriented towards one another, the right-hand pistol depicts Ted Nugent and the left-hand gun depicts Piers Morgan, representing the great ongoing debate in 2013 Which 1911 would you want to own?
  25. Here is my range report for the new Glock 41 Gen 4 in .45 ACP. Over the weekend I purchased the new Glock 41 Gen 4 at a local gun show. The price of the gun was reasonable, but it will most likely come down a little over the next few months. The gun looks just like my Glock 34 and 35. The frame of the gun is the same as the Glock 21 Gen 4 and the slide width is much slimmer than the Glock 21 Gen4 and it measures the same as the Glock 34 and 35. The Glock 41 Gen 4 also fits into my Blade-Tech Holster for my Glock 34 and 35. That’s great because I don’t have to spend more money on a new holster. I added a Warren/Tactical Sevigny Rear Sight and Dawson Fiber Optic Front Sight. The gun does not come with an extended slide release, so I add that also. I have ordered a GlockWox Fulcrum Trigger for the gun, but I did polish up the stock trigger, connector, and safety plunger. At the range I shot 50 rounds of Remington UMC 230gr FMJ and 80 of my own reloads 230gr FMJ. My reloads consisted of 5.0gr of HP-38 with a C.O.L of 1.245. I first shot the 50 rounds of UMC not really concentrating on accuracy, but just getting a feel of the gun in my hands. The gun functioned flawlessly. After shooting the first 50 rounds and trying to keep my hands warm I setup two targets, one at 7 yards and the other at 15 yards. I shot 40 rounds freestyle at each target taking my time and squeezing the trigger. The first target was shot at 7 yards and the second target was shot at 15 yards. At 7 yards the rounds hit just a hair left of center, but I am very happy with my shooting. At 15 yards some of the shots were a little more to the left of target, but still I was very pleased. Overall I am very happy with the gun. I am looking forward to shooting the gun in competition to see how it handles compared to my 1911’s. If it does work well I still do not believe I will get rid of my 1911’s. Thank you. 40 rounds at 7 yards 40 rounds at 15 yards
