  1. Not to go "off topic" but the people at coal creek have been nothing but nice to me from day one and always are when I am in there. As i leave the range they make small talk and ask he "how did ya shoot"? Maybe it is just me but I have never experienced a rude person at coal creek.
  2. I have heard good things about it to but have heard more bad than good unfortunately.

  5. American rifleman basically says its junk for the price and has alot of malfunction problems. They actually recommended a 300 some odd dollar gun (taurus 738 tcp) over it.
  6. I wont be surprised in the least. Pissed off yes surprised never.
  7. I wouldnt have springer precision or canyon creek do it because they actually change the springs out for lighter springs and it can cause light primer strikes. If you are going to do this send it to springfield as the only thing they replace is the sear assembly with reduced overtravel from what I was told. Here is a link to the springer kits if you do not believe me. PISTOLGEAR | YOUR ONE-STOP SHOP FOR ALL THINGS PISTOL
  8. I am down with a sprained ankle so havent been carrying or anything the last four weeks. Therefore, I wanted a combat trigger job done, etc. on it so I figured heck while I send it off I will have springfield fix the issue with the magazine as well. By the time I get the gun back (mid february) I should be able to start shooting again.
  9. Pros, adjustable sights, Cons, Over priced, prone to malfunction alot (american rifleman magazine review)
  10. Montlake sporting clays has closed down as far as I know there in soddy daisy so aside from there I know of no other place.

My philosophy is you can never have or be carrying to many guns.
  12. I would be up for it but need to know all the details. Right now Im down on a sprained ankle and I am not going to be able to shoot for a while.
  13. I am not sure? I took mine off before qualifying. I think that someone would cry about her having an "unfair" advantage.

    BUG

Plus, I saw an naa guardian and checked em out online I know the 380 has a 13 pound trigger pull which I definitely do not want. I think the keltec is closer to 7 pounds which is not to terribly bad. I know the american rifleman did the study on 380's and they seemed to recommend the taurus tcp 738 as a budget backup gun but since it is 380 and 380 is expensive and hard to find around here I figured I would go with 32. Although I am sure that ammo is probably sky high to as typically all ammo is now.

    BUG

The one thing that I like about the keltec is that if I am not mistaken you can shoot fmj or jhp out of it where as with the seecamp it is made for jhp only and if you use fmj it is prone to malfunction.

    BUG

Keltec p32 was actually second on my list behind the seecamp after the research but I had never owned a kel tec and assumed since they were inexpensive they were not very good.
  22. I reckon so.

    BUG

Ill check em out. I am buying a taurus 85 for the car but want a backup to carry on me in case for whatever reason I cant get to my main side arm in time like if I had my hands in my pocket(where the pocket holster is) it would be easier to draw that then reach out of my pocket and to my hip to draw on em.

    BUG

I am sure this has been discussed many many times before so if it has I am sorry. I tried to do a search on it and could not find any information. In march I am going to be looking into a back up gun. I have done hours upon hours of research and wanted to get a seecamp lws 32 which came highly recommended on the gundirectory.com forum from a buddy over there. I checked with seecamp and at present there is a five month waiting period which I do not want to wait for I need to fill this bug position sooner than that. I was thinking maybe a keltec p32 but then figured keltec might not be any good. Which back up gun would you have and why? I like the rohrbaugh or however you spell it 380 but with the 1100 price tag and the cost and limited availability of the 380 round I decided against that.
