  1. I never got pulled over in Bartlett for my window tint and it's 5% but no tint on the windshield so a lot more light is let in than if the front was tinted. I used to be right across from the station a lot too so I know they saw it. PS: Jon that doesn't mean you need to pull me over now if I'm ever out that way again and you see me!
  2. Comcast is the reason I no longer watch TV unless there's absolutely nothing else on or I'm watching a sports game. Even though the old one sucked, it was still usable. The new guide is a complete piece of trash and I can't even begin to come up with reason as to why they would force such an "update" upon it's customers. The shows I watch I will torrent them and stream them to the TV through my 360. No commercials, I watch them when I want in less time than when watching on TV, and I can rewind or pause them if I need to for whatever reason. Before y'all decide to switch companies, try giving Comcast a call and when you're going through the options on the phone there's one selection that is like "Cancel or Downgrade My Services" and it puts you through to a group that will try and keep your business. My mom did that and ended up getting almost all the movie channels, a sports package, and something else (ended up being like 300 more channels with HD channels) for a cheaper price than what we were previously paying. The guide's will still suck but you might be able to get more for less. Worse thing that will happen is you will still end up switching companies so why not give it a shot?
  3. Glad you got it all sorted out. I haven't had anything like that happen before. Only time I've had to restore is when my phone messed up when it was trying to update to newer firmware.
  4. Hopefully it'll work out and you won't lose much, if anything.
  5. When you restore you have 2 options. 1 will be a factory setting restore which will wipe everything off the phone and you will have to transfer everything from your computer back to phone. Whatever isn't on the computer will be lost. Your settings will all have to be reset as well. 2 will be a restore from most recent back up which should have everything from the last time you made s backup of your phone but that's pretty much like putting a clone of your phones harddrive back on the phone. That's what has happened when I did the backup option
  6. Oh yeah, you didn't accidentally uncheck the sync calendar option, did you? I forgot the obvious question in the post above!
  7. Have you tried syncing it on another computer? If it won't sync on another computer then I'd assume the phone has somehow gotten messed up and you might need to restore. If it will sync then I'd assume it's the computer and would keep looking for a solution. I never had that happen when I was using Outlook '07 so I'm not sure what could cause it.
  8. Hello and welcome!
  9. I don't think it's any harder to see out of 5% than 35% at night but I've always had 5% on the windows when I was driving, even with my permit, because of my sister's condition. I think once you go past 20% you will start getting pulled over a lot more. Between my parents and I, we get pulled over a lot just for our tint but once they see our tint exemption stickers most cops won't go any farther than that. However, some do and want to see all the paperwork according to my mom who was pulled over for like 30 minutes one time while the guy called it in to check everything. Depends on the cop you get, what kind of mood they are in, and how you act towards them as to how much they will care about your tint.
  10. My sister is allergic to the sun and SolarTech gives us an installation discount since it's medical related. What's your reason for Llumar over 3M? (I don't know anything about Llumar other than the fact I've seen it on my buddies car) TN Tint does do a good job, my buddy used them on his Si. I've just always used SolarTech so I'd recommend them.
  11. Does TN Tint use 3M? We've only put 3M on our vehicles. Go to SolarTech - www.solartechglasstinting.com - to get it done. They do a great job! They are located at Germantown Pkwy and Dexter.
  12. The guy who took those is my buddy!!! He's awesome. If you look through his flickr account he should have some firearm related pictures. Edit: found them http://www.flickr.com/photos/healthpotion/sets/72157607078697498/

  14. hi there!
  15. I'm not so sure I'd looking for Jon if that was the case... Something about getting tased just doesn't sound like to much fun
  16. I'm sure he'd be happy to if he asked the wrong way as well!
  17. I think I heard Mason say before that it's $20 to change sights, but don't quote me on that. He's a great guy, so just do like Capbyrd said and give him a ring. He'll take care of you.
  18. If you're looking for a long SP game, don't buy this game because you'll be quickly disappointed. I beat the SP in like 2.5 or 3 hours hours. It wasn't hard at all but it has it's annoying little things, like Johnny said, having to wait for everyone on your team to go first before you can advance. The MP is fun. As it's been said, it's a mix of BF: Bad Comp and CoD. I love the fact you can't shoot through things because in CoD:BO you could shoot through a wall and hit someone in the toe and they would fall over dead. This actually makes it fun so you have to actually hit the player instead of what's in front of them to kill them. The major downside to the online play is that they weren't ready for the massive amount of players they got on the first couple of days that their servers were unable to handle it and it would cause a ton of problems trying to connect to the dedicated servers playing the larger game-types but they are in the process of bringing up more dedicated servers. If you were lucky enough to get into a US dedicated server then you had no problems but the way it worked was that we connected to US servers first then it would send us around the globe to their other servers causing a ton of lag for everyone being that far away from the server. Personally, my friends and I prefer Homefront over the other FPS shooters out right now. You get to use vehicles, every kill isn't a headshot, you can't kill someone with 1 or 2 pistol rounds, and we find it to just be more fun.
  19. Thanks mav! I'll check with my doctor again and see what she says. Maybe she'll be ok with it now since I'm doing so well and not having any problems.
  20. mav, do you mind saying what you're doing to see that kind of gain in a couple weeks? I saw you said you upped your caloric intake to roughly 5,000 calories, 150 grams of protein, and a couple servings of creatine per day but what kind of exercises and how much/often are you lifting? I'm assuming you're lifting weights in some form, just wondering how much. I'm 6'1" and about 165lbs and want to put on some weight and muscle mass but I have a health condition called autoimmune hepatitis (immune system attacks my liver) and I have stage 4 cirrhosis which had pretty much shut down my liver entirely and had I waited another month to go to the doctor I would have needed a liver transplant 3 years ago. Since I've been on the meds, I haven't had any real serious problems and getting better as time goes on. I was talking to my doctor about lifting weights and she didn't want me doing any strenuous exercising because I had varicose veins in my esophagus, she didn't even want me to go back to working at my job (Memphis FedEx Hub) because of lifting heavy (anything over 25lbs she considers heavy) packages but I had to have the health insurance so she said ok. I know I can handle lifting over 25lbs regularly without it hurting me any as I used to do it all the time when I was working nights but I switched to a different area now and I just drive freight around. If I could get half of your results in the same time frame I'd be happy with it because anything is an improvement over looking like a twig! I'm just trying to find something that wouldn't be too hard on me and would still show results without hurting me any.

    Tipping.

I go out to eat quite a bit and frequent the same places so the staff knows me and friends. My girlfriend is a waitress so I hear all too often about people stiffing her on tips and I know how it makes her feel. I wouldn't want to be responsible for making someone feel like that unless there's was a big problem. I tip like 25-30% for good service and if they just did an amazing job I will tip even more. If the service is bad I try to watch the waiter to see what is causing the problem. They could have a large party they are dealing with without any help or could be getting sat another table and that is causing the delay so I won't hold that against them. If they are just goofing off not really doing anything then they will generally get tipped only 10-15%. When it comes to Sonic, I normally give them $3-5 depending on what's in my wallet, unless I'm ordering for several people then I'll try and give them more. I almost always have the same female bring me my food and I can tell she enjoys me coming up there. I didn't have any spare cash in my wallet one day and I told her I was sorry and she told me "don't worry about it, you're always up here and tip more than you need to so it's no big deal". I also like to be social and interact with my waiters. It seems to make their jobs more enjoyable if they can laugh, smile, and have a little bit of fun while working. I will leave them notes on the receipts saying "thanks for the great service" or "have a good day". Plus when they know you and know you're going to tip them well you're more likely to get your drinks/refills before others. If I don't have money to cover tipping, I won't go out and eat because I don't think it's fair to the waiter.
  24. Hi there and welcome. Jon, how do you manage as a cop when you completely missed that?
  25. I've never had a single problem with my Kimber Pro Carry II and I use the factory mags. Glad you got it all worked out though!
