  1. Always clean and lube. You never know what kind of debris is leftover from the manufacturing process. Enjoy the PM9, I like mine!
  2. Yes. I just pull a dry clean cloth through it to get the dust and such out.
  3. The State range on Hobson Pike goes out to 200 yards, is covered and a nice safe place to shoot. http://www.state.tn.us/twra/stoneshunted.html
  4. I don't think the President was intentionally being disrespectful to the flag. I think the hours of boredom sitting there during the opening ceremonies, coupled with the Russia/Georgia situation, had a lot to do with it. He had a lot on his mind and probably didn't even realize what he was doing.
  5. I'll second that. If you want a good all around barrel profile, try the M4. If you want lightweight, go the "pencil" barrel route. My brother just bought an HBAR upper and it doesn't balance well with a collapsible stock.
  6. Welcome from the 'Boro.
  7. At the corner of Highland and Sevier, only 4 blocks East of the Square. Opens at 11am. Be there early or wait in line.
  8. The Clearview in Murfreesboro is a great meat and 3. Fried chicken, meatloaf, catfish, greens and beans.
  9. Be sure to look at the XS Big Dot sights, too.
  10. You might try asking on rimfirecentral. They have a whole section devoted to Ruger Pistols. http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=22 Nice folks. If anybody knows, they do.
  11. Here is a link to a how to on AR-15.com. Hope this helps. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=226782
  12. Those things were supposed to be the ultimate replacement for the standard police riot gun back in the 70's. They never caught on though. I heard that the batteries in the light could corrode and damage the receiver. Never saw it myself. Neat shottie!!
  13. I heard them say that a set of 4 went for $1700.
  14. I always print a few pages of the coupons and hand them out in line.
  15. I have an 85CH Stainless and like it well enough. Its just too heavy to pocket carry.
  16. Welcome from the 'Boro. Go Blue Raiders!
  17. Welcome from the 'Boro.
  18. And prices skyrocketed on those items!!!
  19. Back when I was serving warrants(back in the dark ages), we had one officer knock on the front door and announce that we had a warrant, and we just grabbed them as they came running out the back door/window.
  20. Frank, You ever get to pick with my brother in Crossville? Mike
  21. I looked on the SigForum and no one there had anything good to say about ProMag. Better to have one factory mag, than 10 ProMags. See if you can find Meggar's. I think they might even make the newer Sig factory mags for them.
  22. But he feels much safer now. Isn't it all about "feeling safer".
  23. Don is a strange character. I spent about an hour one day with him talking about everything from guns to cars(he loves Corvettes). He is somewhat anti-gun. He showed me a newspaper article about himself, when he burned 47 Mak-90's in a pit in front of his store. Seemed rather proud of it. Anybody from Indy remember that?
