  2. If you want a sling, sling it. If you want a collector, never shoot it and put it back in the box and wait 20 years. It might be worth more then. If it were me, I'd shoot it, sling it, scope it, customize it. Have fun!!!
  3. I've been logged in for the last year.
  4. I can't find anyone to carpool with and its a long way from the Boro, so I'm not coming either. You guys have fun.
  5. Just wondering if anyone from Murfreesboro was going to the TGO Shoot tomorrow? Someone could ride with me or I could ride with them. Just let me know.
  6. Got this email today. BELOW IS AN EMAIL MESSAGE FROM BOB POPE WHO IS RETIRING FROM THE MODERN GUN SHOW BUSINESS!!! Most of you know I have been doing gun shows in Tennessee for more than 24 years. I have enjoyed working with you for many years. However all good things must come to an end. This letter is to inform you I have sold my gun shows. All TGCA members need not be concerned. Your membership for 2008 will be honored at the October and December shows in Franklin. To stop the rumor mill I am going to tell each of you exactly what happened. The Tuesday after my last show I received a call and the gentleman ask if my shows were for sale and I said I would be open to that suggestion. I priced the shows and my offer was accepted. I will not be doing any more modern type gun shows. There are several options that have been discussed with me regarding the gun subject. One of those options is the hosting of a 2 hr radio show. As of today I do not know what I am going to do. As things progress I shall keep all of you informed. Now I need to chat with the dealers that are TGCA members. If you have paid for your tables in advance for the October show in Franklin your tables are secure. For all dealers that reserved, but did not pay for your tables you need to contact Rex at RK shows. RK shows can be reached by going to Google and typing RK Shows. In closing I would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting me and Bob Pope gun shows over the last 24 years. And to you old boys out there that also supported gun world in La Vergne from 1975-1983 I really want to especially thank you. I have made many friends over the years at the shop and shows. I shall never forget each and every one of you. It has been my honor to meet and call you my friend. May God Bless and Keep You from Harm Your Friend Bob
  7. A question for you "Shield" watchers. Why do the uniform cops wear their badges on the wrong side of their shirts? Only watch from time to time and never figured that one out.
  8. +1 for the Ruger 10-22. If you want a single shot, leave the magazine out and load one at a time.
  9. I tried the BSA on my MkIII Hunter and it felt too big. Need something lighter.
  10. I have both an Eotech and a BSA(Bass Pro version). The only problem I've had with the BSA is in bright sunlight and light colored targets, the dot washes out, or blends in with the target. The Eotech is much brighter. But for $39, get the BSA and try it. For indoor ranges or dark targets it works fine for me.
  11. Hi JP. Where are you? Welcome.
  12. No to Rudy. Too anti 2nd Amendment Palin did really great tonight.
  13. There has got to be a pin. My Mac90 has a pin. Its very flush and painted over. Scrape some of the finish off and see if its hiding. Oh, and wiggle is good on a gas piston. Can't you find another easier compliance part(I assume you are converting the stock and such). Good luck, Coop
  14. I don't think that matters. If they don't ask, you don't tell.

  16. I have a PM9 also, and mine had to go back to the factory for a similar problem. There is a known problem with a rough chamber and feed ramp(I think). The Kahr factory will fix you right up.
