  1. I have been offered this Beretta 22 in a trade. I haven't seen it in person yet, but can't seem to find anything about it online. Can anyone here help? I've been told its a "Beretta model 120 P-8". Any idea of value compared to a Ruger MkII? Thanks for the help. Mike
  2. I have dial types and while not super fast to open in an emergency, I like not having to worry about the battery failing. Some folks just aren't good with the dials and can't open them easily, but I have had no trouble.
  3. Hi bang-flash, Got this from the TWRA site. http://www.state.tn.us/twra/huntweapons.html Weapons may be equipped with sighting devices except those devices using an artificial light capable of locating wildlife. Night vision scopes are illegal.
  4. The Slick Pig in the 'Boro is my BBQ hangout. $.99 sandwiches on Tuesday!

    XS Sights..

I have them on my Glock 19. Fastest combat sight I've seen. Put the dot on the target and squeeze. I'd have them on all my handguns if I could afford them.

    S&W Model 29?

Thanks for the insights. I too like AA5. Its what I used in my .44 cowboy loads.
  7. Hello and welcome. I'm in the Boro too.
  8. Thanks, Jeff. I thought the barrel looked "L Frame".
  9. Risc, Thanks for the invite. I know the 15th is out for me. I'll see if my schedule frees up. Mike
  10. I did this the other day. They make a photocopy of your BC and give back the original when you do it in person.
  11. Does anyone know if the Taurus Tracker is about the same size and shape as a K or L frame Smith and Wesson? I'd like to find a holster, but they seem to be few and far between unless I go with a generic nylon holster. Thanks, Mike

    S&W Model 29?

I paid $289 for mine back in the "Dirty Harry" days and that was suggested retail. Really nice handgun. I looked recently for a 4" one and had no luck finding one. They seem to be quite overpriced right now. They used to be the only game in town but now a lot of competition is out there. I just traded for a Taurus Tracker 44 with 4" barrel. I'm looking forward to shooting it. Good luck in your search.
  15. The weather is getting just right for a shoot. We need one somewhere(outdoors).
  16. I just put a Millett SP-2 on my Ruger and it works great.
  17. The upper handguard is easy to remove. Take the gas tube off the rifle, grasp the wood firmly and rotate the gas tube. That will turn the wood upside down and fall into your hand. If it won't rotate easily, put a wrench on the "square" end of the gas tube and rotate.
  18. I put a Millett Red Dot on my Ruger 22 MkIII Hunter and love it. I can hit the gong I shoot at 75 yards using it. Can't without the dot.
  19. Thanks guys. I traded for it tonight. Looking forward to shooting it soon.
  20. Maybe you can just susseed from the country and form your own, like Peter Griffin.
  21. I'm in the process of trading for a Taurus Tracker 44 Stainless revolver. It has the ported barrel. Anyone have any direct experience with this one? I plan to shoot 44 special handloads out of it. Thanks, Mike
