  3. You might want to slug your barrel and see what size it is.
  4. Welcome from the 'Boro. Is the icecream shop still in the middle of downtown?
  5. I'm still trying to figure out why a 12 year old needs to go to a rock concert. Take her to a G rated movie instead.

  7. 70, Aren't 9mm bullets usually .355? Mike
  8. TDR, I too have seen the MM with a barrel and mag tube that are flush. Don't know when they made them. I Google Image searched and found this one. Don't know why they would change to a shorter barrel or longer mag tube. And these: Mike
  9. I started with the RCBS Jr press. Moved up to the Rockchucker and still have it. Have a Dillon 550 for .44mag/spl and .45acp.
  10. I hope you are working, though. I've been furloughed since last June.
  11. Here is a very simple reloading cost calculator. http://www.handloads.com/calc/loadingCosts.asp And here is one that takes into account the cost of your reloading equipment. http://10xshooters.com/calculators/Handgun_Reloading_Cost_Calculator.htm Hope this helps.
  12. According to the NRA, it was not in the bill. http://www.nraila.org/legislation/read.aspx?id=4430 Friday, February 13, 2009 We have been hearing many rumors, and receiving many inquiries, about "buried" provisions in the federal economic stimulus bill that would negatively affect our Second Amendment rights. People have claimed the bill would designate interstate highways as national parks, or impose ammunition encoding and new ammunition taxes. Fortunately, and contrary to what you may have heard, there are no provisions in this bill prohibiting firearms or ammunition anywhere, or for anyone. The only reference in the bill to firearms is a provision authorizing funds for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' (BATFE) "Project Gunrunner," which is a program that enforces existing laws to reduce smuggling of firearms from the United States to Mexico. This program imposes no new restrictions on gun owners, and if it did, we can assure you we would take swift action. Needless to say, NRA, as a single-issue organization, takes no position on the economic stimulus legislation as a whole. For more information and to view the legislation yourself, you can visit http://www.readthestimulus.org/. The site features a convenient search function and covers every version of the legislation.
  13. If you want a great aftermarket stock for the 10-22, then consider the Hogue. http://www.getgrip.com/main/overview/overmolded.html
  14. Welcome from the 'Boro, Tiny!
  15. How did the rest of us Mosin deprived folks miss this group buy?
  16. For hand priming, I like the Lee. It holds a full box of primers and has great "feel" as the primer goes in. Probably a lot cheaper than the other brand too.
  17. Thanks waynesan, I'll head to the hardware store for a #33.
  18. Thanks for the offer John, but my weekend is pretty tied up. Where is TCTC? I would like to come and watch sometime. Never done any of that fancy shootin.
  19. I've got a 1100 that is about 20 years old. The last time I cleaned it, I noticed the "o" ring on the mag tube by the gas rings was about gone. It is hard, cracked and about to fall off. Has anyone here ever gone to the hardware store and bought a replacement o ring? I hate the thought of spending $4.50 for a genuine Remington replacement when I can get one for $.45. Will it work ok? Remington says theirs is Teflon. All it does(I think) is seal the gas from going the wrong way up the mag tube. Opinions??? Thanks.
  20. My advise is to wear blaze orange. A lot of it.
  21. TDR, Look it over carefully. A lot of folks don't clean them the way they should and things get frozen up on them. I agree on the price. No more than $150 and that's because it looks like a good scope. Mike
