  1. I just posted a rifle for sale. When I tried to insert a photo, the button would not work to put the url. When I posted the ad, all my paragraphs and formatting disappeared. What has changed? Thanks. Mike
  2. XD, You and your son may have the whole range to yourselves. I'm thinking of going to Viola Valley next week instead of coming to the Saturday shoot. You guys have fun!
  3. So, is anybody planning on coming this Saturday? Or will it be just 3 of us again? Who is playing football this weekend?
  4. Nothing structural involved. Probably flew just fine. McGyver would be proud.
  5. I use the Lyman version of the diopter sight. I like it for target shooting as I have the same sight problem as you. I would think that moving and shooting with it would be difficult. If you wanted to try the Lyman, they are much cheaper at $18 vs the $65 for the Merit. Good luck with that and let us know how it works.
  6. A good cane is a great weapon when you can't carry. You can even carry it on an airliner.
  7. I have heard that you can sharpen the Lee tool with crocus cloth in the slot of the tool. I stopped using the Lee tool for primer crimp and went with a tool I can put in my cordless drill. It is a countersink bit. Works well. Saves the fingers.
  8. At the Williamson County gun show, I saw two kits for about $540 each. Barreled upper, stock, lower parts kit. All you needed was a stripped lower. And they were only $99 at that show.
  9. I don't think we have a gunsmith here anymore. You could probably do it yourself with a few simple tools. Check Brownells website. They may have a "how to".
  10. Yep. Can't lose on a bye weekend!
  11. Add some lemon juice and vinegar to that Dawn and they will really sparkle!
  12. Hello again Terry. V Tails Rule!
  13. Well I went to a couple of these and they are all more trouble than its worth. One wanted the address, phone number and store hours of a local FFL before it would take my entry. I figure if I win, there would be plenty of time to figure out where to ship it. No thanks.
  14. I just got a call from a friend shopping at the Murfreesboro(Old Fort Pkw) Walmart and he said they had Federal 550's in stock(24 boxes of them) and the Remington 550 value packs(about 12 of them). Get em while they're hot!
  15. Who got shanked in the exercise yard? It happened really fast.
  16. Howdy from the 'Boro.
  17. From the closed bolt face to the muzzle.
  18. Thanks, TDR.
  19. How will I know that my Benefactor status is about to expire? Thanks, Mike

I used to fly over Grundy County a lot. In the winter with no leaves on the trees, the woods are filled with stripped cars. It looks a lot prettier with the leaves on. Nice pics.

    KAHR P45

I have the CW45 and really like it. Very reliable and comfortable to shoot.
  22. You have gone way beyond the point of this being a fun hobby!
  23. Welcome from the 'Boro.
  24. I use a homemade liquid cleaner for really dirty range pick up. It only costs me pennies per batch. Then my tumbler finishes the polish. They look like new when finished.
  25. I arrived at 11:15 and discovered I had missed most of RB's speech. All the speakers did a great job. Due to the weather, the tent should have had sides on it. This would have kept the wind out and been much more comfortable. The Outpost Restaurant was so slow that you couldn't get a cup of coffee without a big wait in line. A simple coffee line or table would have been nice. Or a vendor outside selling coffee and hot chocolate. The JROTC that was supposed to be directing us to parking, just pointed in a general direction down the side street by McDonalds and said park "down there". They needed more people and maybe an adult to supervise them. I enjoyed this event and hope the next one is even bigger.
