To me, Bullseye sounds a little bit fast for this heavy bullet. I assume you have looked at the Alliant website to see what they recommend? Edit: That bullet is not listed, but they seem to recommend either 2400 or Unique for the heavy bullets.

My nephew in got a doe today with his Remington 742 in 30-06. Range was 220 yards. His first ever deer. I'll post a pic when he sends me one.

Back in the 70's, I had a Charter Arms .44 Bulldog with a 3 inch barrel. It was a great carry piece. Lightweight and compact with lots of punch. Wish I had never sold it.

I have the Ceiner conversion kit and have never heard of, or experienced any barrel life issues. Shooting low speed lead vs shooting high speed jacketed ammo should be a no brainer. Imagine how many .22LR rounds have been down the rifles made in the 40's and 50's. Haven't heard of any of them wearing out. Conclusion: I love my .22 AR kit and will be shooting it for a long time.

David, No nothing here that I can think of. TGO looks different now though. Like the "Quick Links" used to have a down arrow. Its gone now too. I'll try fiddleing with my settings. Mike
