  1. How about some pictures comparing it in size to the typical pocket carry guns(that hold more than 2 shots)?
  2. If you are using Firefox as your browser, I recommend Download Helper. It's small and unobtrusive. It lets you not only download, but convert the flv files to several other formats. It's free, works good. Stay away from anything RealPlayer wants to install on your computer!!!
  3. That's Al Gore country. He probably wanted a sign to feel safer when he eats there.
  4. Nothing wrong with the current system. We certainly don't want to become more like ARFCOM!!
  5. I'm off(have been for a year now), but no where to go and no one to go with.
  6. Nice buck! I guess that "New York Reload" came in handy.
  7. My nephew got this non-typical buck on Saturday morning with his muzzleloader. It was his first buck ever.
  8. You might want to check into 922r compliance before you start changing stocks. This link might help. Gunwiki: 922® Worksheet for AK-47 Builds Or this article: http://cheaperthandirt.com/blog/?p=472 Hope this helps. Mike
  9. That's me. Worked at IFC from 1981 to 1990. Then flew for Berg at TAC Air in Nashville. Refresh my memory on who you are, please.
  10. Here is me at my former office. FL350. Sure do miss it.
  11. To me, Bullseye sounds a little bit fast for this heavy bullet. I assume you have looked at the Alliant website to see what they recommend? Edit: That bullet is not listed, but they seem to recommend either 2400 or Unique for the heavy bullets.
  12. My nephew in got a doe today with his Remington 742 in 30-06. Range was 220 yards. His first ever deer. I'll post a pic when he sends me one.

    BULL DOG

Back in the 70's, I had a Charter Arms .44 Bulldog with a 3 inch barrel. It was a great carry piece. Lightweight and compact with lots of punch. Wish I had never sold it.
  14. Thanks for the reminder. Just went and did mine.
  15. I heard that they canceled it about a month ago from someone who lives in Crossville. I guess they never took it off their website. Edit They took it off this site. http://www.gunshows-usa.com/tennesee.htm Here is their contact info in case you want to ask them about it: Mid-State Sportsman Club Gun & Knife Show (931) 738-8675 c/o William F. Bohannon 475 Franklin Ave. Sparta, TN38583
  16. Moaning...moaning! I love those Red v Blue episodes.
  17. I just wish they had a showroom instead of just the counter sales.
  18. I have the Ceiner conversion kit and have never heard of, or experienced any barrel life issues. Shooting low speed lead vs shooting high speed jacketed ammo should be a no brainer. Imagine how many .22LR rounds have been down the rifles made in the 40's and 50's. Haven't heard of any of them wearing out. Conclusion: I love my .22 AR kit and will be shooting it for a long time.
  19. Ok, It's fixed! The hopping on one foot must have done it! Thanks. Mike
  20. Well, I did reboot and Firefox updated to a new version 3.5.4, but still no changes. I can live with this, but its just not as convenient as it used to be. Don't know how the HTML Code gets turned on and off. Thanks, Mike
  21. Will do. I do notice that at the bottom left corner of the TGO page, it says HTML is OFF. Would that do it?
  22. David, No nothing here that I can think of. TGO looks different now though. Like the "Quick Links" used to have a down arrow. Its gone now too. I'll try fiddleing with my settings. Mike
  23. edit what? I did fix it by editing. Why won't the buttons work anymore?
