  1. When I took FR, the ranges were from 5 feet to 50 yards. I used a red dot with zero magnification.
  2. I've said for years that NASCAR should race in the rain. Just pit, put on rain tires, and keep going!
  3. A 40 round value pack? Of .22's?
  4. No. It's already bad enough that inlines with scopes are allowed.
  5. Why not make your own from .308 brass. A lot cheaper!
  6. No, sorry. Just smokeless. Too big of clean up with the black.
  7. I've got two 45-70's. A Marlin 1895SS, the long barrel one and a long barrel(30")  H&R Buffalo Classic. I load mostly mild loads as my old bones won't take the pounding of full power loads.
  8. So can someone fill the rest of us in? So it's a fake of some kind? I wouldn't know a real one from a fake one either.
  9. My wifes mom had Shingles, so my wife went to get the shot. It cost her over $200 for the shot!
  10. What if the speeding car had stopped and 4 big guys had jumped out and kicked your ass? Yelling at the car did nothing but escalate the situation.
  11. Murfreesboro also. Saw the flyer.
  12. And didn't the federal government just buy millions of rounds of .40?
  13. Went there once and they changed out the entire frame on my 19. Gave me some extra recoil springs for my 19 and 26. Swapped my 10 round mags for 15's too. Great customer service!!!
  14. A friend went just to buy some H1000 powder from David. Was told that it was all going to somebody in Shelbyville, so there was none for sale to the public. Very disappointing for him after he called and asked about it.
  15. Pay to get on one of the shuttle bus tours. Get off at the monument, stay as long as you want, get on the next bus and go to the next one. No parking hassles.
  16. I don't think you will have any pressure problems with Pyrodex and a TP wad in front of it.
  17. I have one. Good shooter. I mainly load cast boolits for it and shoot reduced loads. Those full power 7.62 NATO loads will really get your attention!
  18. His name is Ben and he is a good smith and reasonable too.
  19. I think it was the 125's that were cracking the forcing cones.
  20. You should probably be rotating your stock. Be canning more chicken and eat the older stuff.
  21. It's funny how nobody wants to develop their own loads anymore. When I was learning to reload, it was fun to experiment with different loads till I found the one my gun liked. Now I see this on all kinds of gun boards. People asking for the best load for their gun.   My opinion. Start with the suggested starting load and work up till you find one that you like.
  22. In the old days, this would have been settled in the pits with tire irons.
  23. I just tell them I don't have a computer and they hang up.
  24. No change here on the east side of the 'Boro.
  25. BarBCutie has always been pro gun. The Donelson store put up a gunbuster sign about 10 years ago. I went and spoke to the manager about it. She said it was just to keep bad guys from carrying. She immediately took it down and has been CCW friendly ever since. The one here in the 'Boro is not posted either.
