  1. I mailed my Benefactor money last Friday and am wondering if it got to Smyrna yet? It was coming from Murfreesboro. Thanks, Mike Westwindmike
  2. Good tutorial Hgunner! I think the owner of the revolver needs to be trained a little better in the use of the double action revolver and not go cocking it like in the movies.
  3. That's it. Great measure. Will last you forever(almost).
  4. Wipe it out with a used dryer sheet if static is a problem. I had the same wide variance in powder throws with that measure. I bought an RCBS(all metal) and it is very consistent.
  5. Do they let you shoot at silhouette targets at Stones River now? They used to be really crazy about that. Try and put up a silhouette and watch how many RSO's you attract!
  6. I use a Craftsman type, roll around tool box. About 3 ft tall. The drawers hold boxed ammo and the larger containers can go in the big bottom compartment. And it locks.
  7. The Charter Arms is light and powerful. The SP101 is heavy and powerful. Now the SP101 in .44 spl would really be something. I've owned the Charter. It was great to carry. Wish it had a dehorned hammer though.
  8. The rental car company may not let you know, but the ticket may haunt you for a while. One time in San Diego, I got a parking ticket on a rental car that was rented to the other pilot I was flying with. Threw it away and didn't think about it. 2 years later, the other pilot was trying to buy a house and it showed up on his credit report as unpaid! He called me and was really pissed off. I had to pay the $15 ticket and about $90 in penalty and interest just so he could buy his house. So, I'm very careful in rental cars now.
  9. Smith, maybe you could host a class on converting now that you have more conversions on here than anyone else?
  10. Welcome Steven from yet another 'Boroan.
  11. Just wait till the new Assault Weapons Ban gets more media attention. Prices will skyrocket again. Every time Holder opens his mouth about it, prices jump a little.
  12. It's a new thread revival record!!!! Tell him what he's won, Johnny!
  13. I always ask, "You are a Tennessee resident aren't you"? After driving to meet a guy on a gun deal, I asked. He said "No, I'm from Ohio". I didn't do the deal and was ticked off that he had wasted my time and his.
  14. I think places like Hobby Lobby and Michaels would have it.
  15. Way too big and stiff for a Model 60.
  16. My Becker Companion is in my "Get home bag" in the car, but I only carry a folder as EDC.
  17. I don't think so. My SKS spring is bigger in diameter and more flexible. SKS on top.
  18. I found this in my "suitcase deal" that I bought yesterday. It appears to be a recoil spring for something. It is captive and has a rod in the middle that has a slight bend to it. Any idea what it fits and is it supposed to be bent? Thanks!
  19. Here is the tool box AR. Low Profile Gun Case for AR-15
  20. I found him around 2:45. He had parked at a table near the middle of the room. I bought a brand new 12 gauge boresnake from him for $10. Don't know who he was. Said he had bought and entire closeout of stuff from a gun shop. He was with a guy who is at every show selling as an individual.
  21. Went to the Murfreesboro gun show this weekend and saw a lot of Savage 24's. Prices seem to have come down slightly, with most running about $350. Most were .22/410's.
  22. It was still there today. No price tag on it though.
