  1. MCR, What about filling in the amount the car sold for? Any negatives to not filling that in at time of sale?
  2. I never did a BOS. Just fill out the back of the title.
  3. Because if I read it right, these were made with the "small ring" Mauser actions, not the "large ring".
  4. I also have one of the .308 Spanish Mausers. I have fired full power 7.62 NATO Ball through it. I don't anymore, just due to the age of the rifle. I have found it to be a really great rifle for shooting reduced loads. It's a great cast boolit rifle and I do occasionally shoot jacketed bullets in it(but loaded down). There is a continuing argument about whether it is ok to shoot full power NATO loads in it. Do some research and make up your own mind. Here is a good thread over on CastBoolits.com. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=73330&highlight=spanish+mauser
  5. I read of some broken stocks on heavy recoiling rifles being caused by the Sled.
  6. I'd toss them. Too big of a chance on mixing them in with the large primer cases and messing up the primer feed on your loader.
  7. $90.00??????? I think we are talking about the $10-15 rain barrels. Or free!
  8. I've heard that some Co-op's have food grade barrels that olives came in.
  9. I'm sure your Defender will be fine. A friend of mine has a box stock lightweight Defender, and it is one of the best shooting 1911's he has ever had. If you read too much on the 1911 forums, you would be afraid to shoot any of them until you replace/polish/tune all of the stock parts. Shoot it and make up your own mind.
  10. Thanks. Most of the candidates will be speaking this evening on the Public Square in Murfreesboro from 5-8pm.
  11. That's going to be a great rifle when finished! Be sure to take lots of pics.
  12. Thanks guys. Guess I'll carry my walking stick.
  13. Have to visit a sick friend there tomorrow. Does anyone know if it is legally posted? I can't find it in our database or search. Thanks.
  14. I believe the OP said the guy he bought from, "built it".
  15. My factory built DPMS AR's barrel is marked on the bottom in front of the front sight. It says: "DPMS CAL .223 1-9" It's possible that he used a DPMS upper receiver and a no name barrel. Without markings, you don't even know what the twist is and therefore what weight bullets to use in it. If you bought it as a "DPMS" upper, I think I'd be wanting some documentation as to where it came from or my money back.
  16. Thanks! I was starting to get the shakes.
  17. Check YouTube. There is a guy on there who shows how to reload them.
  18. I'm sure he'll be at the next show in Murfreesboro. April 24-25.
  19. I don't believe I'd have told that.
  20. From the KelTec Owners Group website(KTOG): One of the attractive features of the Kel-Tec P11/40 is its ability to use Smith & Wesson M59-series (15-round) and M69-series (12-round) magazines. Many KTOGers are partial to the M69 12-round magazines and use them as spares when they carry. Depending on your body size and type and your mode of carry, it's also possible to use the M69-series magazine (with extension - see below) as your primary magazine in your gun. Most people seem to find the M59-series magazine just too long for use as anything except as a spare or at the range.
  21. Mine were all from 1999. I stocked up for Y2K. All of them went bad. 2500 rounds stored in my safe.
  22. Wait till they are a few years old. They start getting rough on the outside when the lube starts to deteriorate. Mine got so bad they wouldn't chamber and the ones that did were horrible for leading the barrel. Remington replaced 2000 rounds of mine and I shot the new ones quickly, before they could go bad.
  23. I'm there but most of the info was wrong.
  24. Thunderbolts are horrible for leading!
  25. The Fobus are injection molded plastic, not Kydex so they are not very adjustable at all.
