  1. Go really old school. Sharps Buffalo Rifle in .45-70. If you reload for it, cheap to shoot. Good to 1000 yards or more.
  2. If the Pentagon can be hacked, couldn't Carbonite?
  3. And what's the deal with all the toe fungus commercials? Gross!
  4. The OK Corral in Woodbury has a "AR Pit" range. I was told it was for the "spray and pray" bunch that was shooting up the target frames on the regular range. Check with them.   https://www.facebook.com/okcorral.shootingrange?fref=ts   (615) 653-3779
  5. A link to the site would have been nice. Here ya go.   http://www.tnwfirearms.com/product-p/aspx-cplt-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.htm
  6. Be sure to come to Paddlefest. There will be many boats to demo there.   http://www.meetup.com/paddleadventuresunlimited/events/219744524/
  7. I used to hate to go in there due to the guys working behind the counter. They were not friendly and very arrogant. Now that management and staff have changed, I have started going back in there. Still don't like to use the range, but the shop is well staffed now.
  8. Grady Jones was open MWF from 2pm-6pm. Call before you go to make sure. 615-890-8204
  9. G. Gordon Liddy used to joke all the time on his radio show that he didn't own any guns(convicted felon), but his wife owned a bunch. Wink wink. Nudge nudge.
  10. I just hope they don't do too much bragging about all your cool guns to their friends who may not be of the highest integrity.

    9mm AR?

I can't remember all that much about it. Don't know what brand upper it is. I do know that the bolt is not ramped and I do have the 9mm hammer. It has a mag block that secures with an allen wrench and uses Colt pattern mags. It has last shot hold open, but that rarely works. Don't know why. I bought the upper, mag block and mags from a member on here, slapped it on a Double Star lower and went to blasting. Wish I could remember more details for you.

    9mm AR?

I have a 9mm AR and it's my favorite. I shoot mostly cast boolit reloads in it. It feeds anything and everything from super light loads to max.
  13. I used to put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator to get mine up to temp in the winter.
  14. One of the local TV news in Nashville did a story a few years back about all the State employees that had HC placards so they could park for free on the meters in town. I remember one lady got out of her car and when the news crew confronted her about it, she ran in high heels all the way into her building to get away from them.
  15. Seems like the 7-30 Waters is popular around here. I too have a 7-30, .223, 44Mag and 45Colt/410 Contender. The 7-30 is a favorite of mine. I shoot mostly cast boolits through it. And I make my own brass by reforming 30-30 cases.
  16. I only missed the wooden leg question.
  17. Talked to a friend who went. Said all ammo prices were crazy. The 325 round Automatch 22 was marked $75!!!
  18. Randy Weaver cut off a shotgun barrel below 18" and you see what it got him.
  19. That was good reading Mikey! Didn't know that about your Dad.
