  1. Thanks, Lester. I drilled and tapped the deflector to screw right on to the tripod I use. Then put another screw up through it to secure the Chrony to the deflector. Works great.
  2. I look down the side of the barrel and make sure it is not pointed lower than I want. Oh, and I had a friend weld up a steel bullet deflector that my Chrony sits on in case I "miss".
  3. Oh, my Google Fu is as strong as yours. I just think it is bad form to post something that requires that everyone go searching for it when a simple link to CRKT would have been easy to include in the original post. Like this: http://www.crkt.com/catalog http://form.coldsteel.com/Catalog_Request.aspx?wf=http://www.ltspecpro.com/
  4. docholiday5150 appears to have "the box". You cannot claim the box until the box is posted again. When the current holder of the box is ready to send it out, he will post the contents here. Then and only then, can the first person who replies, get the box. No asking for it ahead of time! So, we are all just waiting on docholiday to repost the contents of the box and say it is ready to be claimed.
  5. Last year, TGO helped a friend of mine in McMinnville with a Kroger gift card. It was a huge blessing to him. I hope we can help him again this year as he is still unemployed and partially disabled.
  6. It needs bold patterns. The small patterns you have will disappear from about 5 ft on and you just see gray.
  7. We all have to live with what we do, right or wrong. If I knew it was just in the wrong place on the shelf, I would have just paid the full price. Better than having to justify to myself that WalMart made a mistake and I scored a jackpot. Just my .02
  8. I agree with glockster157. Put it back stock and sell it. I don't want to pay for a bunch of "upgrades" that I don't want or need. One mans upgrade is another mans junk.
  9. Aren't they the ones that put on the really small shows in Lebanon and Murfreesboro(Armory)? Not very good from what I've heard.
  10. I bought a used one and it turned out to be a single shot. Bang, jam. Bang, jam. So I sent it back to Hi Point and it came back with everything new except the serial number. Got to love the lifetime warranty.
  11. I have a Taurus Tracker .44 and I think I have about $425 in it. Good shooter.
  12. I have this one. Shooting Chrony F1 Master Chronograph - MidwayUSA It is easy to use, has remote display and is on sale right now.
  13. You can get the metal clips from Tandy Leather.
  14. You need the Rodenator!!! Gophers Pest Control | Moles Burrowing Rodents @ Rodenator
  15. Try Champions Choice in LaVergne. They carry the chamber flags for the competition shooters.
  16. I called the Reloaders Bench yesterday to give them a heads up on this thread in case they wanted to respond or defend themselves. The person I spoke to remembered the transaction in question. He told me the Smith's were police department trade ins. The seller had bought both of them from Reloaders Bench and had not paid a lot for them to begin with. He knew what he had in them and was perfectly happy to trade them for the new Smith. I don't have a dog in this fight, as most of you don't either. The seller was happy, the buyer was happy. End of story. I've been dealing with Larry at the Reloaders Bench for 20+ years and will continue to do so.
  17. I'm voting for Lou Ann. She got into the race early and started challenging Bart Gordon before he decided to not run. There are a lot of folks trying for the easy win now with the open seat.
