  1. Well then, post something up for grabs then guys. Get the ball rolling again.
  2. I'll bring an AR with a .22 kit in it for cheap shooting. I know a lot of folks have never shot an AR and the .22 AR makes a good starter for them(and cheap to shoot, too.).
  3. I saw the "MA" N number and thought you were in a MU-2. There were a lot of Mike Alpha's in the Mitsubishi's. Then I saw your ground speed.
  4. Did you try the Rossi factory? It may be still under warranty.
  5. I have them on my Glock 19 and they are great for fast shooting at short ranges. They are not target sights! I'll be glad to let someone shoot my 19 if they want to try them.
  6. I have a bunch of mag pouches, mostly Blade Tech that I had been advertising for sale. PM me your needs and I'll check my box of goodies.
  7. Ok, "The Box" is going to Cox in Nashville. Will mail it on Friday.

  9. Went to the Goodman show today. Got there around 9:45. No waiting in line to get in. Not very crowded inside. Seemed that everyone there had something to sell with them. Not much money changing hands. Everyone must be broke. A friend of mine had a complete Bushmaster AR lower with A2 stock for sale and nobody wanted it at $300. A few months back, he wouldn't have made it in the door before selling it. Just wondered if anyone else went and had a better experience.
  10. You have to send Terry a dollar for being the first to post in reply to your announcement.
  11. I can't afford to shoot there anymore. $20 is just too much to pay to shoot in a crowded, smokey, dimly lit range.
  12. To far from the 'Boro for me too. I liked the old Owl Hollow shoots we used to have. Somebody organize one for that soon.
  13. I hate to hear that Stoney River has posted. It was my favorite upscale restaurant in the area.
  14. When "The Box" was started, it was only 10 items and they all fit in a USPS Small Flat Rate Box and shipped for about $5. I'm betting it is now fitting in a Large Flat Rate. I think they are around $11. I'll let you know for sure when I receive it.
  15. I shot a Bisley Vaquero in .44Mag in CAS competition. The lower hammer made it easy to thumb cock with one hand. The turned down grip did not roll in a sweaty hand like the standard shaped grip. It was heavy, but that soaked up the recoil and kept me on target. I hope you enjoy yours.
  16. I've never used the conversion slides, but suspect the accuracy will never be as good as your Ruger. Custom 1911's are known for being tight in the slide. The conversion should work fine with any factory stock gun.
  17. My blocking never went away. Just had to disable it in Firefox.
  18. Restaking a front site could be a problem if you don't have the proper tools. I bought the RIA Tactical just because it had dovetailed sights and could be easy to do. As far as gunsmiths, I hear that Jeff at Guns and Leather is good with 1911's. Good luck.
  19. So, did anyone go? How was it?
  20. That's how I finally got in, but want my warning software to be active in case of other sites being a problem. Kinda like turning off your anti-virus.
  21. Has anybody else gotten a warning through Firefox, that TGO is a reported attack site? I've been trying to get on TGO this afternoon and everytime, I get a full page warning. I finally had to disable the warnings in Firefox preferences to get here. Just thought David would want to know and see if it could be corrected. Thanks. Reported Attack Page!
