    Tact and salesmanship are two things that gun shop employees need to have or be taught. I have been "talked out of" more guns in a gun shop, than I have been talked in too.

    Could it be this Don's Guns has moved to Tennessee?

    Can you turn the mounts so that they both angle to the rear? My Stevens rifle had to have Weaver mounts that had offset to the rear for them to work for me. Good luck with yours.
