You need to start reloading for it. No need to shoot full power loads just to punch paper at the range. A good cast bullet with a moderate powder charge will turn that beast into a pleasure to shoot. If I shot full power loads in my 45-70, it would knock my shoulder out of joint. I shoot cast loads with reduced powder and it is now fun to shoot. Good luck with yours.

I have the same Safariland for a Glock. It is top quality(like all Safariland products). It is very comfortable if worn on the hip bone. The paddle is very curved to fit around the hip. Unless you reshaped the paddle, it wouldn't be very comfortable elsewhere. YMMV. Best of luck with it.

I bid my maximum and don't worry about the "snipers". That's why I like GunBroker. They have a "15 minute rule" that defeats the snipers. Wish Ebay would do that too. Sniping is not very fair or ethical in my opinion.

The box project got a little out of hand when it expanded into two boxes. I'm sitting on box number 2 right now waiting to see if there is any interest in continuing. Box number 1 is still out there somewhere. I think FiddleDog has it. Box 2 had a lot of stuff in it that nobody wanted. Some of the items that I originally placed in the box were still there. I'd like to see what happens with #1 first.

I went with one of these when my eyesight got worse. It helps the focus. They are about $18. If it works, it's a cheap fix.

They both look like they need the stock shorter on the AR. Good to see kids enjoying shooting.

I use candle wax too. I have heard good things about using sawdust for flux.
