  1. I've got two FR8's and shoot them both. They are great rifles. And very unique. I only shoot cast boolits in them now.
  2. Put the scope on a known accurate rifle and try it there. That takes out some variables.
  3. I had the same problem with my CMMG unit. It got so stuck in the chamber that I had to take it to a machine shop and have them make a "tool" to "tap" it out. Beat it out was more like it. Sent it back to the dealer and he replaced it no problem. The new one slides in and out like it's supposed to. I guess they get one out of spec every now and then. The original Ceiner units always worked better after polishing the rails. The CMMG and Ceiner both like to run very wet with oil. Good luck with yours.
  4. Nashville News, Tennessee News and Local Weather from WSMV Channel 4 News
  5. I heard that some folks shoot Cream of Wheat in their bee loads.
  6. Maybe next year you shouldn't wait till the last day in case this happens again.
  7. Caster, Use one of your neck sized cases and make a dummy round. Seat the bullet(or boolit), crimp and then try loading and extracting. I bet it works better then.
  8. So what kind is he?
  9. Sure do. Just tell me how to get them to you.
  10. I use a .375 pure lead round ball to slug with. The excess just becomes a donut on the muzzle and falls off.
  11. It makes a difference to the POI if the bayonet is folded or extended. The sights are regulated to the extended position.
  12. Thanks Dave Shooter. Do you have that mold or some boolits cast from it?
  13. 6.8 AR Send me a PM with how much you want and how we need to proceed. Thanks.
  14. I tried shooting some of my .312 cast boolits in my Mosin and it shoots like a shotgun! I slugged the barrel and found out why. It slugged at .3145! Does anybody here cast a "fat .30" that comes out about .315-.316? If so, maybe I could trade you some other caliber for a few. I hate to go back to shooting jacketed in it, or to go back to shooting military surplus that kicks like a mule. LOL. Just let me know if you can help me out with this. Thanks.
  15. That's funny! My AR pistol is scoped and I need to shoot it at the 100 yard range. Wonder if they would let me?
  16. So I wonder what they would think if I shot my AR pistol on the pistol range? Nobody would like to be next to that. Caster, I think I remember that now. LOL.
  17. How did I get away last Saturday without shooting that Bisley?
  18. Aw, don't worry about it guys. I'll just go buy one.
  19. Maybe if I'm sitting out a hurricane.
  20. But I have 500 to pull! LOL
  21. Weekend bump. Surely somebody has a puller near the 'Boro.
  22. I need to pull a bunch of reloaded bullets and my "hammer" type puller is just too slow. Would anyone here have a press mounted puller that I could borrow for a few days? It needs to have a .32 caliber collet in it. RCBS, Hornady, etc. I'm in the Murfreesboro area. Thanks.
  23. Caster, I have an FR8 in 7.62 and it's a great rifle. I also shoot the 8mm and love to load for it. I'd love to have your FR8mm if I could come up with something to trade. PM me if you have any ideas.
  24. That was an interesting read. Thanks.
