I too have a 22/45, but there are times I want to shoot a 1911-22, so I bought the GSG. I know it won't outlast the Ruger, but it fits all my 1911 holsters and gives me quality trigger time on an identical platform.

Call the ASPCA and let them trap and remove them.

I have the GSG and to me it is the closest thing to a "real" 1911 there is. Just take it apart and look at the frame and the internals. All real 1911 parts. Mine is very reliable with Federal bulk ammo. Really a good shooter.

So, was there a lot of TGO folks there, or mostly folks from GOC and elsewhere? I take it there were no frantic phone calls to the police when non participants spotted the open carry people? Glad it went well for you and all attending. Now that we know it was successful, more people from here will probably consider coming to the next one.

I sent my 19 back to Glock in GA when I found out it had a "frame recall" on it. They replaced the frame and upgraded all the other parts, including my mags, then mailed it back to me. No charge. Give them a call. They are very helpful.

I have them on my Glock 19 and love them. So, it seems people either love them or hate them. You'll have to choose which.

Forget the Fobus and buy a Kydex holster, not a injection molded holster. I think you will be much happier.
