  1. I just pulled a Wolf black box 123gr HP and it measured .310.
  2. I have never heard of a Potter press, but for $300 there are a lot of better options out there. Look at Lee, RCBS and Hornady.
  3. What does your bore measure? Those .310 bullets might not be big enough.
  4. Well, I too am proud that Barretts are made here in RC, but I can't stand the Nutnfancy videos!!! This guy yammers on for what seems like hours to describe what should take seconds. I think he just likes to hear himself talk. Maybe I'm not "Tactical" enough to realize what a cool guy that Nutn is. I think it is funny that he is so afraid of negative comments, that he disables his comments on YouTube. Seems like he has a sister that is always taking up for him too. JMO. YMMV.
  5. +1 on pushing them in slightly. I had a bunch of 8mm Mausers to pull and I borrowed an RCBS collet puller. It worked great! I pulled about 500 in an afternoon with no beating and banging with my hammer type puller. I recommend you get one.
  6. Mine runs great too. I hope the customer service takes good care of you.
  7. Wow Caster. Great lesson for all new casters!
  8. If you go to the artist's website, he explains each thing in the painting. http://www.mcnaughtonart.com/artwork/view_zoom/?artpiece_id=379
  9. It's my understanding that once they start the screening on you, you can't leave. I've heard of folks being arrested for refusing to submit and wanting to leave.
  10. Tried to pull up the link to the story. It is no longer available.
  11. No joke. They were charging for tours and supposedly giving the money to a political campaign. You also got to shoot a .50 at their indoor range. My next door neighbor did it.
  12. A while back they were selling factory tours. Seems like it was about $150 a person. But that is typical of the Barrett's.
  13. I use 6.2 gr of AA5 with a Lee 190gr SWC. Nice mild load and cycles everytime.
  14. Welcome to TGO and Tennessee. If you want to make points with the locals here, be sure to start out most of your sentences with, "When I was in Mass, we did it this way". JK!
  15. I have the Stevens model 200 in 25-06. Same as the Savage. Great round and great rifle for the money. I've found 25-06 ammo to be more expensive than 30-06. Don't know why. I now reload for it, so it is cheap to shoot for me.
  16. If it works, don't worry about it. If you ever need to send it in for warranty repair, just remove it first.
  17. I have pulled the FMJ, dumped the powder, reloaded with my powder and bullet. Works good. Then just throw the case away. They used to call this "Mexican Match" ammo.
