  1. Dolomite, what is the easiest way to open it up? Can you do it like a Lee push though sizer?
  2. I can't believe this thread is still going on!
  3. Try asking for a hose pipe up North. They don't know what that is either.
  4. Sell them here. You can ship up to 75 pounds of them in a flat rate box.
  5. I had one that I traded for and it was a single shot. Bang, jam, bang, jam. I sent it back to HiPoint and they rebuilt it to like new and sent it back to me no charge. So, the warranty works well.
  6. I just read on another site that Paul Gomez has passed away. It was reported to be a diabetes related illness. Paul has been posting videos on TGO for a while now and I know that I enjoyed them. Paul will be missed. I will report more when I know more.
  7. Yeah, I don't waste any, that's for sure!
  8. I have one. It is a little light in weight for shooting off a bench, so I added a mercury recoil reducer inside the stock bolt hole. Helps a lot with those big, heavy slugs. I scoped mine while I am doing load development to try and wring the most accuracy out of it. When I get my best load figured out, I'll probably take the scope off and go back to the stock sights (which aren't bad). The trigger is a little heavy, compared to a Sharps with set triggers. I cast and shoot a 340 gr. Lee RNFP slug and have been using AA5744 powder(thanks Caster!). Just yesterday loaded up some with Trail Boss powder and hope they do well too.
  9. The chair is against the wall. John has a long mustache. Good night America.
  10. I Googled it and found this place. $15 http://www.thecountr...cope_mounts.htm And found a bunch of different ones here. http://aa-ok.com/ak-dragunov-scopes-mounts/ak-side-rail-receiver-bases-for-scope-mounts.html
  11. So is this an auction, or a garage sale type sale?
  12. They call it the .450 Mongo. I've been tempted to try it. I already use .444 Marlin cases in it for my 410 loads. I just never came up with any loads that I felt comfortable with to try.
  13. I have 2 Contenders and 4 barrels. .223 Super 14, .44Mag 10", 45Colt/410 in 10" and my favorite, 7-30 Waters in Super 14. I shoot cast out of the Waters and it seems to really like them. The .223 had way too much blast for my taste with full power loads, so I now load them to Hornet velocities with Blue Dot and they are mild and accurate. The .44 loaded with 240gr SWC and Unique is a fun one to shoot at 200 yards. The one I shoot least is the 45/410. As much as I like the 45 Colt, the chamber is so long to accommodate the 410, the slug has to jump an inch or more just to get to the rifling. I hope you get a Contender/Encore. They are fun and addictive!
  14. I wondered what happened to that Mauser. It was a neat rifle. Too bad it was in .300 Savage. It should make a neat cast boolit shooter in .308!
  15. When I ran out of my Dillon Case Lube (after several years on one bottle), I made my own out of wire pulling gel and alcohol. A quart is about $7 and should last me just about forever. Works good too.
  16. Always lube or you risk getting one stuck.
  17. Will it run on batteries only. I'd try that. If not, try another outlet in another part of the house. Use a check weight if you have one. If not use a factory bullet of known weight. It may just need a re-boot. Good luck with it.
  18. I use 3031 in my 7-30 Waters, but it meters badly. It is a long, extruded powder and works good for the limited number of rounds I do for the Waters. For the .223, I'd try 748 or 2520. They both meter very smoothly.
  19. Very nice of you TDR! I hate to see an animal suffer too.
  20. I don't think so. If you load to the same OAL, there will still be the exact same space for the powder.
  21. So, which is better? A sit in or sit on, and why?
  22. Like I said before, more folks will show up if you do this at a range.
  23. It's funny that the On Target folks have not weighed in in this thread. The owner used to post here regularly.
