1.
Does a collet puller leave marks on the bullet?
Not unless it slips.
2. I thin my LLA with mineral spirits. Makes the LLA last longer and still lubes good.
3. But you also have to watch out for the guys with the "sleeved" barrels. Those guys can shoot the whole center out of the target.
4. The hammer type is good for a few mistakes, but if you ever want to pull a bunch (like 500), get a collet type puller. I pulled over 500 in just a few hours one time.
5. That's a crazy ballistics chart. Who sights their 30-30 or 45-70 in at 200 yards??? It would mean more if the zero was at 100 and then you could see the drop at 150.
6. My thought is that the Glock only needs night sights and ammo to run properly. And, like Caster said, an aftermarket barrel to shoot lead in if you cast.
7. Get somebody to make your Chrony some "body armor". Here's mine.
8. I've decided to try the hedgeapple approach to spider control this year. I'll let you know how it works out.
9. I guess I'm the odd man out on this. I think it looks too bulky for what it carries. It doesn't blend in with anything that you would normally wear around town. Just stick the Altoids can in your pocket and go.
10. I make my own out of old cereal boxes. Cost= $0.
11. I thought the first episode was great. It's been getting more ridiculous every episode since. I'm going back to watching the Big Bang Theory.
12. I use the yellow wire pulling gel that I get at Home Depot and mix it with alcohol. Works good and is really cheap.
13. If his insurance company paid off after the theft, it now belongs to them. That's why. I'm sure they didn't pay full value for it because it was used though.
14. Better to drop a few points in the classifier, than in a real competition. I hear that's what the "gamers" do anyway to stay in a lower class.
15. Here is the website for the store. They have a contact page. Send them some good wishes. http://www.crumbandgetit.com/default.html
16. Those are some really expensive screws!
17. Starts Sept 11. That bridge scene looks like a dream to me. Can't kill off Jax in the first episode!
18. You need to start as a web based business. Then if that is successful, you could think about a brick and mortar store. I'm betting that most re-enactors buy off the web.
19. I just can't like the look of the flat triggers. I do like the grips though!
20. And if you do go through an FFL, just be aware that you just lost at least half of your potential customers.
21. I use Unique for 44 Mag loads in my Contender. 240 gr SWC with 10 gr of Unique should kill any Tennessee deer and not beat you up. Caster probably uses a bit more.
22. I've been using my Lansky for about 15 years now. Haven't worn it out yet. It does a really good job on all my knives, including my kitchen knives.
