During the first AWB how expensive was ammo?

I don't remember ammo being that high. It was mostly mags. 30 round AR mags were going for nearly $100 each. Glock mags were the same. -
Talked to the head guy in Murfreesboro Walmart sporting goods today and he said they did not pull anything. They just sold out.

On my Marlin 45-70, I have a standard aluminum base and rings. It is holding up well to all my shooting. -
Muzzleloader season should be only sidelock type rifles. When inlines came into the season, it's just like hunting with a real rifle, not a primitive weapon. Lets go back to a true primitive ML season. Just my opinion.

When I was a kid, I'd help my Dad take the tubes out of our old radio and take them to the Rexall Drug Store. They had a tube tester there. If they tested bad, they sold new ones in the cabinet below the tester. That was fun! Best of luck in your repair.

No wonder the Rutherford county deer are so spooked with that thing going off in the middle of hunting season.

When I was a kid, my mom cooked everything in the pressure cooker. She would set it in the sink and run cold water over it to cool it enough to open. I have a microwave pressure cooker that we used to use a lot. Could cook a small roast in just a few minutes!
