I use Mobil 28 aircraft grease on my slide rails. It was used in places on our plane that got to -50 at times and still did not freeze up. Works well at high temps too.

Have you slugged your barrel? That will determine what size you need to size to. I like to tumble lube. I use 50/50 LLA and mineral spirits. If you can see the alox on the boolit, you probably used too much. Is the Lee mold a gas check design? If not, you will probably need to slow them down a bit.   Check out Cast Boolits website.

Stay away from the Sherrer mags. Pure junk! Bought some during the Clinton Ban years when you couldn't buy a genuine Glock mag used for less than $99.  They got me by, but they are only good for malfunction drills.

I had a Hi Point 9mm Carbine that I bought used from a member on TGO. It was a jam o matic. Fire one round, jam. Fire one round, jam. I sent it back to Hi Point and they rebuilt it to like new, sent it to me in a factory box with all the accessories. I sold it the next day.

I wish the TFA would do like the GOA and include a sample email in their alerts. I'm not very good at composing this stuff and if I could just fill in my name and address and send, I would send more. The NRA does that too. Makes it easy to participate.   And they don't read them anyway. It's a numbers thing, for or against.

Welcome from the 'Boro!   I don't know what GSSF type targets are, but I shoot at the OK Corral in Woodbury. Nice place with several pistol ranges, 200 yard rifle range and 2 trap ranges. $5 for all day of shooting.

Is this for a flash hider? I know that Ken Arnold had some at the gun show this past weekend. He's in Lebanon.

I especially like the Jeff Cooper one. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a SHOT Show many years ago.

I used to see them in the back of American Rifleman magazines back in the 60's. Seems like they sold for about $15 back then.

I bought my LW Glock 19 barrel from Midway. It works great in my 19 and 26 with lead boolits. And it's threaded in case I want to add a can later.

Comcast is coming and going tonight. Have missed most of it. Will hope the replay at 1015 is better.

I've had a Goodman heat pump for about 3 years now. Before that,had another brand. I like them. Very efficient with the electricity if you use a good digital thermostat and don't go crazy with the temps. We keep ours at 68 in the daytime and 63 at night. The Goodman is noisy though. The only thing I don't like about it.

You might try a Quik Sak. That's where I get mine in Murfreesboro.

I had to polish the chambers of my Coachgun when I was Cowboy Shooting. Made the chambers really slick and the empty hulls just fell out. Easy to do with a dowel rod and 4X steel wool and oil.

I have found numerous rings and have only returned one. It was a class ring with a name inside. I was able to track down the owner. The other rings had no markings.

I shot lead in my 19 and 26 for years until I found out I couldn't/shouldn't. I now have a Lone Wolf barrel and don't worry about it. My OEM barrel was fine, but I got so that I was pulling my barrel out every 50 rounds or so to check for lead. The LW barrel lets me not worry about it.

No, but if you let your bolt slam shut on the string, it will cut it in half! AR-9mm.
