Jayc, I guess I see your point about no evidence to support open carry vs concealed as far as a tactical advantage. But I guess I just dont want to scare little kids or people that are uncomfortable around guns in public places. (Like the guy with the mini ak at the park). The only time I open carry is when on private property. But each to his own. In an Ideal world everyone would carry open proabaly be alot less crime. Too bad that is a far away planet called Gundar.

Well I didn't see one person on here that admitted to owning one of these. (minus few scarcism comments) So I guess the guy that owns the buisness in TN is not to happy because based on the responses no one seems to want to have one of these. I did'nt realize what a hot topic this was going to be. Like I said guns for self defense are best left unseen until needed. But it's good to know that most people here seem to have ethical standards when in comes to having the responsibility of carrying a firearm by not doing open carry in public.

I think if one was to purchase one, put it in a wallet beside your HCP permit. I would't wear on a belt. That's how the guy I saw was wearing it but I didn't see his gun.

I saw I guy wearing one and I thought! I would never wear one, because If I ever had to use my gun for defense. I want the element of surprise. WOW. Alot of comments. Just as I suspected majority says no a good idea.

I often wondered if people actually use these? The only reason I could see to use them is if you open carry and think it might make people feel more at ease becasue they precieve your legal. I wonder what real LEO think of these?.

I had a Berreta tomcat, and it shot really good, but i had alot of FTF. I sold it couple months ago $300 but for a small gun the accuracy was very good. The ammo is hard to find at bass pro 25 to 35 bucks for 50 shells of remington FMJ.

I heard this was the gun that fell out of a guys pocket at food city in Rogerville TN and shot an employee in the leg.
