Wish I could've made it down to meet everyone, but I ended up doing some last minute shopping with my brother. Sounds like you guys enjoyed yourself, and hope I can make it next time.

Thanks guys, We're still looking, But I am thinking about looking into possibly a hotel conference room or something of the sort. Thanks again.
-
Thanks guys, However those are catered rooms, and alot bigger than we need. We are a non-profit club, so price is an issue. Which is why we're just thinking if we could find a place that isn't associated with a restaurant or catering service, that just books the room, where we could just order pizzas for everyone, and bring our own drinks. Anyways, Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Thanks alot guys, From the ones with experience that have commented, It has definetly left me at ease. Thanks alot! Now, Does anyone want to donate to the "get Bubba a M&P9c fund"?
-
Yeah, I am thinking about maybe looking into the Hotels. We would prefer a dedicated room like that, rather than a restaruant. Figure it will be cheaper for the club, and easier to just do our own thing. Thanks tho!

Hi guys, I am in the works of planning a "Meet & Greet" type meeting for a local musky club(fishing club) that I have recently been nominated the president of. Anyways, I am looking for a room of descent size(capable of holding 40-50 people at least) for us to have our meeting at. We typically have our meetings at Gander Mtn near Turkey Creek, however that room isn't very large, and I don't know how they would feel about having food in there either. That is another thing, we plan on ordering pizza's for everyone too...so that they allow food is a must. Also, I would like it to be fairly close to the interstate...somewhere near west town would probably be best. Anyways, I am not directly from Knoxville, so I was hoping maybe a few of you guys might be able to throw a few suggestions my way that might meet our requirments. Thanks guys, I would appreciate any help.

This wasn't mean to be an argument over Glock vs. S&W, just a simple question regarding S&W's "second owner gun" warranty policy. Thanks for the relevant input.
-
So I have about definitely decided that I want a M&P9c for my first gun. However, with the price of these guns....I am hoping to find a good deal on a used one. The only thing is that I just read on the S&W site, that their warranty is only good towards the original purchaser. I was just wondering how you guys feel about this? Or if any of you have ever had to deal with S&W Warranty service? What do you guys think?

Guys, As much as I hate to say it, Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to pass on Saturday. I got to thinking last night and I realized I haven't even been Christmas shopping yet...lol. And funds are running low as-is. So hoping maybe after the first of the year, that I can catch you guys another time....Maybe by that time I'll also have my own gun! Shoot enough for me too. Sorry guys.
-
If any of you guys ever wanna "wet a line", feel free to shoot me a pm. I'm always up for fishing with someone new. Or if anyone would like an "introduction" to musky fishing, again...feel free to let me know.

Brasil! Those are two places I would love to go and fish....The Amazon and Alaska. Nice pics!
-
If can provide more if needed! I've caught 6 this year so far here in TN, and this guy I caught on my trip to Canada in August....
-
Catch & Release Only with musky... I keep the crappie, catfish, and the occasional big bluegill for my eatin' fish.
-
Mainly Melton Hill Lake, but there are several rivers in the area that hold a pretty descent population of musky as well. As well as several lakes&rivers in middle TN as well.
-
Any Fishermen out there? I am a big fisherman myself. If I could, I would go fishing everyday, or at least every other day...haha. Just this past year, I have gotten into Musky Fishing pretty exclusively, but still enjoy fishing for anything from Musky, down to bluegill..haha. So what about it? I know some of you guys gotta be fishermen.
-
Great, Thanks! I'm sure I can round up a pack of paper plates.
-
What do you guys usually bring to shoot at? Do I need to bring anything special?
-
Oh, Sorry...That sucks. I know I can get to BPS in about 1 1/2hrs, but I am not quite sure how close/far away from there is SIR, so I suppose it would take probably close to over an hour. I got a pretty good place in mind. My Uncle(his dad actually) owns a big piece of land, out away from town, and i'm sure I could find a good bank to shoot into around there. Thanks for the input guys.
-
So I guess i'm gonna be there. What time do most of you guys usually try to get there?
-
Sevier Indoor Range shouldn't be too far from you is it? I wouldn't imagine more than 45 minutes away?
-
If there isn't an actual shooting range anywhere near me, what are the laws(if any) about going out and shooting somewhere away from any nearby houses/buildings? Like going out on someones farm, out on a lake bank(shooting into a bank of course) or something like that? The closest actual range to me that I know of is probably a good 45 minutes away, so once I finally get my gun, It would be nice not to have to drive 45minutes or more just to practice with it. Anyone know anything about this?

I do know there is Sevier Indoor Range, Here is a link to their site... Sevier Indoor Range - Indoor Shooting Range serving Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg
