1. Some companies have an official and unofficial policy. " Don't get caught on property with a gun, but don't let us find you dead without one"
2. Well I looked in the safe to get you the forms you need and I'm out of fingerprint cards. I must have given the last one to a dealer a while back and forgot to order more I do have some form 1s and Certification of compliance. If you want PM me your phone # and I'll go through the process without the extra BS. You can also order all the forms and finger print cards from the ATF for free.
3. With out paying with your first born... http://www.tn.gov/twra/gis/R2_WMA.html
4. He may have a stamp for it, making it a legal SBR.
5. My10mm has knocked a few deer down.
6. Try living with four kids. Three of them under three. Then tell me how you feel about spanking. Throw in the fact that it's illegal to spank the youngest three.
7. I hunt with a silencer.
8. The trigger spring may be broke. Push the trigger forward when you push the bolt forward and see if it cocks.
9. They all say AR500 steel.
10. I never said self defense. I've been in confined spaces four times when firearms were discharged. One was in a car and a guy had negligent discharge in the back seat behind me. No one had a clue what happened until the guy pulled back his bolt and ejected a spent round. The round traveled though my seat about an inch from my ass. The natural response would be anger, but that's not the emotion we all had. Think about deer hunting. How many people hear the shot? I never have. I know that the shot brakes when I see the scope move. I have had to use my have gun in self defense, but I will never tell that story in an open forum. The first time I was shot at I had no idea what was happening except the guys I worked with were all getting real small real fast. I'm not military. Just had a odd life around pissed off people.
11. I have several suppressors. I don't use them on my home defense guns. My brain shuts off the sound of a gun shot in a house. Under stress all I hear is a dull pop, then normal sound resumes. My ears never ring. I've probably done damage, but it's a fair trade. (Not like it happens evey day) Adrenalin is a strange chemical.
12. My outting him is solely dependent on the conversation we have when I pick up the paperwork. I'm not looking for "Stuff" or compensation, but there needs to be a serious "sorry I messed up". My business will go to someone else regardless, but I will not derail his shop enless I get a "Screw you deal with it" attitude. I hate being pissed at the guy, but what would a gun dealer do if i walked in a grabbed a new gun, loaded a mag full, and fired it out the door. If I didn't get arrested, It would cost me the price of the gun or at least a "30% restocking fee".
13. I don't believe there was more than a mag or two ran through it. I will definitely check it out better when the forms arrive. I don't believe there was any harm to the suppressor. I don't see it any differently than if a neighbor would have taken my studebaker out for a ride and brought it back. It's a boundary issue. The gun he used has been sold so my fingers are crossed. If he wanted to hear it shot all he had to do is call. I have subsonic 9mm ammo. He did not. I got all the forms from the ATF for his business, showed him how to fill them out, and set him up to sell class III. I've been called down to the shop to answer questions for customers and they give out my number for unique questions. I don't ask for discounts, but do expect to receive my toys unmolested.
14. I bought a suppressor and sent paperwork in last November. I did a trigger job on the host and finally got the threaded barrel fitted. So a few weeks ago I went by the shop to check the fit and there was residue inside the can. I asked him how many rounds he put through it. He then hesitated and admitted " One.........well maybe two". I didn't say anything at the time because the stamp is not approved yet. I don't want it screwed on to a machine gun and a few mags ran through it. I really feel like I paid new price for what is now a used suppressor. A baffle strike would have been great. I'm pissed. I've done all of my new gun purchases there for at least 15 years. I'm going to take the hour twenty drive to Guns and Leather on the 16th.
15. You need at least 40 moa of movement plus some on both sides.
16. I'm looking for a magazine follower or pics and measurements so that I can make one. Thanks.
17. I don't shoot factory anything.
18. I've killed a bunch of deer with a 16" 300 Whisper and 10.5" 300 Blackout.(Super and sub) I love the round. You can get all the info you need here http://www.300blktalk.com/forum/index.php?sid=30b1f9ffdd416fede47548a4225f6d13 They are a bit fanatical , but some say that about me

20. Speeding is not the problem, wreckless driving is.
21. As long as it was supersonic at 1K and of sufficient accuracy, I don't see why it would be a problem. I've thought about a 6.5 Grendel or 264 LBC with a 123 gr Lapua. I'd get a good brass deflector. If someone doesn't like it they are more than welcome to buy you the gun they want you to shoot. Paint it pink with purple polka dots and fire for effect.
22. Do you have a HCP?
