1. I think Oak Ridge is having one this weekend.
2. Yes. I called Bat Machine today, but didn't get a response. She has a hard time lifting the bolt on a Savage without disturbing the gun. I keep going back and forth on the action. I can lighten up the bolt on a Savage, but I really want to get her a nice custom action. My wife will shoot it as well and may compete. It's kind of hard setting up a gun for a growing kid.  I've never let anyone put her in a box. She takes dance classes on week days and deer hunts on week ends. My little boy wants to go shooting so bad he can,t stand it, but he's about 6 months from firing his first shot.   Thanks Sam. They will hopefully have my last name by the end of the year. We are doing everything we can to make it happen.
3. This is her at 5 with the 300 Whisper. Video
4. A lot of the stuff I shoot simply does not exist. So I load. I would be hesitant to shoot someone else's loads. I have trust issues. :squint:
5. LOL They show up all the time. I have 3 foster children.
6. I don't like to post faces, but in this case I have to. I started teaching my daughter how to shoot at the age of 4. We started with a suppressed .22, but she refused because daddy didn't shoot one. A suppressed AR in 300 Whisper became her trainer rifle. She killed her first and second deer at 7 with the same Whisper. Her third at eight. Last season she graduated to a suppressed 308 and killed a nice ten point. All the shots were under 200 yards. She has never shot a non suppressed rifle so I was a little nervous. I decided to take her shooting at a grand this morning. The gun is a Savage F-Class in 6mm BRX, 107 SMKs, Benchmark 30" barrel, and a 20x Leupold. The barrel was threaded and chambered by Spook and installed it about three weeks ago. The rifle belongs to a friend. My F-Class gun has a little more recoil than I want her to experience. One group is amazing and almost unbelievable, but I have video. Enjoy. 8. Lol, l run Ford fluid in a Chevy transmission (700r4). Ask your dad why.
9. 1: I agree. Everyone.   2: I disagree. This is the same logic as the "Hate crime bill". If you murder someone, you should be tried for that murder. Giving extra time for using a gun is assentially saying that guns are more dangerous than every other way you could kill someone.     3 :I disagree. If they are too dangerous to own a firearm than they should still be in prison. The 2nd amendment does not have an "Except" in it. Ex felons deserve the right to defend themselves. Pay your debit to society, and be done with it.   4: I agree.   5: See "3"   6: I agree   7: I agree sort of. Take the firearm out of the equation and add the possibility of the death penalty to rape I can agree.
10. I can help you, if you want to call me. Adopted / Private adoption / Foster parents / DCS adoption. You can adopt for free. Your $40,000 dose not guarantee you a child. Mom can back out at any time. You can get $12,500 back as a tax credit after two years. Angel will do it for about $11,000 + the $1000 home study. DCS is not as PC as you may think. They are a pain in the ass sometimes, but I have no major issues with them. Your guns will not be a problem. DCS gets a copy of your HCP. I have Class III stuff and not an eye was batted.
11.     I had to get very vocal in high school once. Ended up cussing a teacher for about five minutes in front of half the school. The school administrators apologized to me and put restrictions on him. He and the school got off lucky. The ACLU lives for those kind of cases. It got to the point where he was harassing me outside of school and threatened to destroy my car. (With me in it) There were multiple witnesses (students and faculty) of him bullying me and intimidating my girlfriend. I can't wait to piss on his grave.

13. There is enough technology available to make your own SAMs. Including the tracking system. Look into model rocketry. 30, 000 ft isn't crap. You would have to run servos to the control surfaces and connect them to the tracking computer. I say a three or four pound object traveling at 500 mph should do it.
14. Looks up to fluffers.         I'm so going to hell for that. LOL
15. God, please let the war start while I'm young enough to fight and my children are too young to get involved.
16. Unsupported factory barrel or aftermarket?
17. Also here.   http://www.quarterbore.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3314
18. Whisper brass will work in your Blackout. A&H has some.
19. I use this.   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/721759/forster-power-case-trimmer
20. Anyone know anything about this place? It's around Summertown on 60 acres and has "up to 500 yard" range.   http://www.eagleeyeshootingrange.com/
21. I can't stand to be around drunks or pot heads, but I would much rather share the road with someone that has smoked a couple of joints than one that has had a few drinks.
22. I love a 1 x 4 or a 2 x 7 for what you're doing.    http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/vortex-viper-pst-1-4x24-riflescope-with-tmcq-moa-reticle/reticle
23. I just shipped 1000 308 cal 175 SMKs for exactly what I paid for them. I'm sending off 2000 more next week for the same price. Not everyone is gouging. I do have a mutually beneficial arrangement with the people I send bullets and brass to. I'll send you 1000 SMKs for $*** + S&H , but if I need a barrel, gun smith work, or a car part I would like to have the favor returned. I don't believe I've paid for smith work for about two years and I have offered to pay every time. Take care of your friends and they'll take care of you.
