Oh my! I have already printed off a bunch of parts for my Dillon 650. I'm about 95% done designing a 10,000 mhA battery mount for a Q Fix rifle that's set up for a thermal scope. Anyone else playing with one?

What about the citizens of Virginia? Should the people that refuse to surrender their guns and fight be executed? -
Your best bet is to use your circle of friends. Do you really trust strangers?

I've found lots good stuff at a bar/club, but I have an ex-girlfriend that was a stripper. -
It would have been nice to get 5 or 6 m16s for 8k when I thought 8k was a ton of money. The same gun run 25k+ now.

I've always regretted not buying as many machine guns as I could years ago. I've never had one and now they are so expensive it's hard to justify the $$

A rifle that always shoots high.

Well, you can drive around TN with a suppressor on your machine gun without going to prison so....just last night I was talking to a cop with a suppressed Ar10 equipped with a thermal scope sitting in the passenger's seat. Apparently your phone in your lap on speaker is not quite a hands free device. I told him to stop calling me while I'm driving.

Hows the deer hunters on here done so far
Alleycat72 replied to Quavodus's topic in Hunting and Fishing
I've spent a lot of time and money on my new place. I easily see 15 to 25 deer every time I go. I've let two good deer walk so far and this morning all of my buddy's are sending me pictures of big deer they have shot. Regretting my decision. LOL -
At normal hunting distances, you're better off just picking the cartridge that you think looks the coolest. Anything based off the 308 or 30-06 will work fine for deer. Bullet selection makes more of a difference than if you shoot a 270 or a 243. Push it out past 400 yards and things change quickly. Shooting targets at 1k is a whole different matter.

I looked at tha Kimber Adirondack. I want something that's easy to suppress without the adapter. With the Kimber, that would mean a custom suppressor or an off the shelf suppressor with a custom fast attach. The Nosler also has more range. I think I could get it under 8.5 lbs with suppressor and scope.

Has anyone played with a Nosler rifle? How's the action? Is it worth the $$$$?

Night Vision scope for night coyote hunting?
Alleycat72 replied to Hozzie's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
If I'm going to sit in one spot for an extended period, I use an aluminum tripod with a large ball head. We usually walk about 4 miles each night so we take a very light weight tripod. The gun can't be mounted to that tripod, but I use a sling wrapped around the tripod in such a way that 300 yard shots are doable.( this took practice ) We don't use a scanner. It's a good idea. I use my rifle as a scanner, but it's kind of like using a rifle scope instead of binoculars. We really should get a scanner and if you go that route, you wouldn't be making a mistake. If you are close to Colombia or Chapel Hill, I'd be happy to let you play with mine. -
Talked to the TWRA officer that issues my permits. He said they don't actually issue permits for small game (Coyotes). They have to be actively harming your person or property for you to shoot them. He also said if you're having problems, call the local officer and something would be "worked out".
