  1. Some people are so angry.
  2. So, women is in the process of killing your wife or child. Would you refrain from using deadly force and allow them to possibly die because of some BS notion of chivalry?
  3. It would be sexist not to beat the ever living F$%k out of her.
  4. A book on asymmetric warfare.
  5. On a side note, don't try it with thermal. LOL
  6. They have a little switch in their trucks that kills all lights including the dash lights and they can drive like that. My little switch just kills the tail lights.
  7. Currently looking for Thunder B and ghost pepper powder.
  8. The first time I was young and unarmed. Guy started shooting at me near Foster Ave from the overpass walkway. I told myself I would never get in that situation again. Second was on 17th Ave. I was around 30. A guy set up trouble and called it in. He knew someone would be coming to fix the issue soon. It was 2:00ish in the morning. I knew instantly it was a setup, but nothing could get me. I was after all bullet proof and armed. I couldn't see anyone but I knew when it was coming due to the nature of my job. I moved my shirt over my gun making it visible. Police didn't go in that area back then so I said to my self "here we go". The guy came at my back right side. "Gun side". He was running full out at me and was on me faster than I thought possible. I hit him with the object in my arms while simultaneously pulling my gun. It was wet out and he hit the ground with 70 lbs of work related material on his chest. Safety off, 2.5 # on a 3.5 # trigger, and a Lazer on his forehead. I yelled at him " What the F%^k do you want ". He hauled ass and I finished the job and went home. Third was when I was working near the truck stop on 1st st. This was around the time the trucker was killing prostitutes in Nashville so we were a bit more aware. I inadvertently interrupted a male prostitute with a John. The prostitute ran while the John wanted to fight. The prostitute tried yelled at him to "come on", but he wanted to " F me up". His mind was changed rather quickly. Forth and funny. Coworker called and asked if I was out. It was around midnight and I was. A man in a truck was driving around him. The truck had a cage fashioned out of someones chain link fence. The guy started shining a flashlight at him and the guy was spooked. I got there and we found out someone had hired a toothless redneck to work security for a local company. I still make fun of my buddy's Deliverance experience. There are more, but......
  9. I should be able to purchase anything that falls under NFA without a stamp or 300 day waiting period. Why is that different than what's happening with pot? As long as Tennessee says it's legal, it should be legal.
  10. The federal government says that pot is illegal and yet I have never heard of anyone getting arrested in states where pot is legal. Gun laws should be treated the same way. Pot gives us a legal precedent.
  11. A repeal of all of them would be a start.
  12. I run a suppressor on my house gun.
  13. Who said reason with them. I'm okay with getting kicked out with them. Dropping F- bombs one inch from their face isn't out of the question. The next time they think about acting like a spoiled child in public I want them to have flashbacks and call their therapist. I've had it with humans.
  14. The problem is that no one called her out on it. Everybody probably stood around and looked uncomfortable. If all of the customers in the place "explained" to her that her actions were unacceptable some of this would stop. By not saying anything she has been given permission to act like this anytime she feels like it.
  15. Use fertilizer around the house. You're welcome.
  16. I hear deer season is the worst time for coronavirus.
  17. No, and they won't. If I come in contact with someone with caronavorus and report it, I'm required to take 14 days off with pay and no vacation days will be used. It doesn't matter if we had a mask on or not. We don't have to test positive. We've had several guys do this. Out of 30k employees, zero have tested positive. I could use an extra 2 week vacation
  18. Work came out with a rule that you have to have a face mask on if you're 6' from someone else. The rule does not say it has to be worn over your nose and mouth so mine gets put on my belt loop.
  19. Yes. Accidents and suicides. My father hit several people in his career. There's always a camera. Dad always said the two worst things to hit was a pot hauler because it would kill you and a school bus because it would kill you a few days later.
  20. People like to try and beat a train. They don't always make it.
  21. We are drug tested constantly, but off duty alcohol is an issue. Most of it is stress. Guys deal with it in different ways. I've known several guys with more than one family. If a guy doesn't show up for work and you haven't heard of a violation, it's probably bad. The first time they kill someone at a crossing usually gets most to move on.
  22. I've been with the railroad for about 23 years. It's amazing how many divorces I've seen. It's also amazing how many people I've seen crack up and destroy a career.
  23. I use h335 in my 5.56 and 308. Super fast in a 308 with 125s.
  24. You don't know what a jammed bolt action rifle looks like and then you describe all the various jams you've seen. In 10,000 rounds you've never been chambering a round and had to back the bolt up a half an inch then push it home due to a mag issue. Bolt guns can and do have a multitude of problems that can occur. They are not bullet proof. They are more reliable than auto on average. To say any mechanical device is infallible is just being dishonest.
