  1. My class 3 stuff is the only thing registered, but that's federal.
  2. Depends on the trees. If trees have a bunch of leaves I use a shotgun.
  3. I laughed and now I have to put a head gasket on my daughter's 4.6l Ford. Guess I'll pull the top end off this weekend.
  4. Dang! When I cut trees, it's with a bucket truck. We do not play well with others though. If i got $1800 for a few trees, I would have paid cash for the new house.
  5. Lube the o rings.
  6. All of my guns have a sound level between a 22lr and 22 mag and I have 7 cans by 6 different manufacturers. That's with supersonic bullets. I run them on anything from a 5.56 to a 458.
  7. He said that's one of the issues they are running into. The corn worms get pushed out of the corn and migrate to the hemp. They are literally picking them off by hand. Now if they would naturally go to the hemp without a normal food source, I have no idea. My thoughts are that it doesn't hurt me much to plant something else. I may even learn something and do better this year. I can always go back next year if I need too. I also know nothing about hemp and it's production , so don't take anything I say about it as the gospel.
  8. I've got almost 2 acres of alfalfa. I'm thinking let him pick up the tab on 1.5 ish acres of soybean seed and I'll also 1.5 acres plant peas with sunflowers. The sunflowers will help him out also.
  9. Probably going to do some sunflowers just because my kids went crazy when I mentioned them. The neighbor uses them as pest control. They attract birds that eat bugs.
  10. He came and had a talk with me about my crops. I plant about 1.9 acres of corn just across the street. It is only for deer hunting. The problem is corn worms. They don't bother me, but they have and will damage his hemp. He cannot use any pesticides. First off, he said it's my land and if I want to plant corn that i should. However, if I am willing to plant an alternative crop he and his partner would be happy to pay for the seed and help out in any way I may need. The question I have is what would be as good as corn? I've thought about some large lad soybeans. 5 foot tall soybeans, but they don't pull deer as much as corn after the first frost. The crop also needs to be tall so that it provides cover. Any good ideas?

  13. Yes. My wife knows she needs to get the kids and run if the 9mm comes out. Her gun is only for someone that gets between her and safety at that point.
  14. So, it is law in some states and ethics in others. Some cases have eroded the law/ethical requirement. Clear as mud. Just like gun laws.
  15. A legal obligation an an ethics obligation is two different things. You can have a license pulled for both. It will very state to state, but Kent State University was teaching it in the late 90s. A lawyer can be correct in a statement that they don't have a legal obligation they do have a ethical obligation. I will try and get my wife to pull it up. I'll see if the standards have changed over the years.
  16. ^^This is correct^^. You are responsible for your own safety. This is what we preach on this platform when it comes to guns. If you are at risk you should protect yourself. Stay at home. Don't allow others in your home. If your kid goes on spring break, they get to stay in a motel for two weeks after. Saying everyone else should stay at home is different than saying government should make people stay home. I have coworkers that are saying they have to get out because work is forcing the to go to work. The last time I checked, a company does not own its employees. You have a choice. Some at TGO are advocating ending other people's rights because of fear. This is no different from the left wanting guns ban. Could this cost some lives? Yes. The government is not here to protect you from your own stupidity. They do try. I have a medically fragile child. She would most likely not survive if she contracted coronavirus. I have no right to infringe on all of your rights because of my child's issues. It is my job to keep her safe. Not yours.
  17. I've been listening to so called conservatives and libertarian tell me that the government needs to be more like China in the fight against coronavirus. It's starting to get on my nerves. Should some businesses close to help stop the spread? Yes. Should government shut them down? No. Should nurses help out? Yes. Should government make them? No. I'm seeing a lot of people that are very outspoken on their principles, but now that they have some skin in the game they are all about the government controlling everyone.
  18. If the government can shut down businesses and you're okay with it. If the government can force you to stay home and you're okay with it. If the government can pull you over for no other reason than to ask you were you are going and you're okay with it. If the government can fine or jail you for noncompliance and you're okay with it. They can make you work or they will punish you for noncompliance and you'll be okay with it.
  19. The board of nursing is responsible for pulling a license not a hospital. If a nurse is guilty of dereliction of duty they will pull their license. Refusing to help someone in need is dereliction of duty. Think about a lawyer. They go to college and learn how to be a lawyer, but they must pass the Bar before practicing. They can also be disbarred for different reasons. Same thing can happen to me, but they call it black listing.
  20. It probably wouldn't be "unpaid". They can revoke a nursing license if they don't stop at an unattended auto accident involving injuries. It's hard to prove and I don't know if it's ever been done or not, but it is an option. When the Wife got one of her 15 letters at the end of her name, she was advised not to put anything on her car that indicated she was in the medical field. That being said, one guy is alive because we stopped and one guy had been dead for a while.
  21. My wife and her coworkers fear it will be a " or we will take your nursing license " arrangement.
