  1. They have some pistol primers also.
  2. I've given it to the Sheriff's department for disposal.

  4. I got to have 450s. I was in pretty good shape before this, but now I've got about 6k 450s. It's for a bolt gun so I'll be good for about 5 years on that cartridge. I run through about 1000 to 1500 308 every year so LRP are also always on the radar.

  6. That's a fantastic reloading press. A buddy has one. I've made brass for him so he could set it up.
  7. Havahart trap and honey buns. It is illegal to relocate wild animals in Tennessee. If anyone asks what you did with them, you shot them.......
  8. It's one of those things I could never let go of. My Wife's graeat uncle carried it in Korea. I have his holster and the Colt .22 LR conversion kit he got for it. The Wife's family would kill me. I'm the only one it's safe with. They want my oldest Daughter to have it when she gets older.
  9. I've got a Remington that a sentimental value, but I'd like to find a US&S. I'm just not willing to pay the price I could get a 249 for.
  10. The Q plan b is not a true quick detach system, but it does keep the threads clean. I have no experience with the keymo mount, so I can't give you a honest opinion on that mount.
  11. Well I wonder what they think of this. https://www.amazon.com/Passion-Lubes-Natural-Water-Based-Lubricant/dp/B005MR3IVO/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=1WBOIAB2A6RM7&keywords=55+gal+ky+jelly&qid=1652622950&sprefix=55+gal+ky%2Caps%2C110&sr=8-2&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.4dd97f68-284f-40f5-a6f1-1e5b3de13370
  12. Tennessee is on a path to legalize coyote hunting at night. There is a comment period going on at the moment. If you want to hunt coyotes at night or have problems with coyotes and want someone to take them off your land, please send the email. It's been suggested that: Shotgun only. Rimfire only. Required IR becon on hunters. Seasons that do not coincide with deer or turkey season. The game wardens are not enthusiastic about this rule change and feel like they'll be called nightly because of gunfire at night. I've hunted coyotes in several states and they don't seem to have a huge problem with this. Other concerns are misidentification of targets and hitting things beyond your target. Again, there's easy ways to avoid this at night. I suggested 6mm and below. A requirement for suppressors would be okay with me. I have been told that suppressors will never be required however. Everyone gets a vote even if you hate the idea. https://www.tn.gov/twra/news/2022/5/3/twra-requests-public-input-on-proposed-2023---2023-24-hunting-regulations.html#:~:text=Public comments will be considered,.huntingcomments%40tn.gov

  14. I've got one of these in 6mm Creedmoor and love it.
  15. I know I'm not the only one. It's okay guys. You can admit your preference.
  16. This is one of my favorites.
  17. Mine is full of women with large butts. If I'm honest.
  18. LOL I run a N-vision NOX 35mm on a dedicated night gun. Everyone asks and assumes it's a larger red dot. I have learned that it's wise not to educate them. Everything in the nightvision world sounds like it's out of Buck Rogers.
  19. We discuss anything over $400ish before either of us bother someone with a purchase. "Putting your Wife in her place" is worse than stringing someone along IMHO. It also disrespectful and dishonest to use the Wife as a scapegoat.
  20. I run a red dot with backup iron sights on my sbr house gun.
  21. We do go to the mountains together some. I love my Wife with all my heart. I love doing things with her. We just don't have to do everything together. She will take the kids and her mother on a cruise and come back glowing. Nothing makes me happier. If I was stuck on a boat that long I'd be miserable and she wouldn't have fun because she'd know it. It wouldn't matter how much I pretend to have fun. On the flip side, dragging her all over the country shooting hogs at midnight would not be her idea of fun. Her mother and sister would never go on vacation because they are both single. Because I stay home, they don't feel like they are intruding by going. They also don't mind helping with the kids. It works out great for everyone. In the end, we both respect one another and communicate. I hope you guys have a great relationship with you significant other. It doesn't matter how you're relationship is structured, as long as you respect and love one another.
  22. It's not spectacular, but it's unforgiving. legal advises against discussing work on line or with non-employees. In 12 years I retire and boy do I have some stories. Most are funny, some...not so much.
  23. My Wife likes the beach. I've had my fill of the salt water and sand. I'd be miserable. She knows this and would feel horrible trying to make me go. She would hate doing what I do on vacation and I refuse to demand She go. We live our own lives together with a common goal and the understanding that we are equal. I refuse to tell my Wife how to live her life and instead support her. In return She reciprocates. It's fantastic.
  24. I don't vacation with my wife. I've been told I'm doing it wrong by people who've been divorced 3 times.
  25. We have 5 guys coming at the end of June. I get them the 1st day. The older guys are already cracking up about me getting them all at once. My day is called the death march. They will have been through 2 weeks of indoctrination and orientation by that point. One guy is someone that knows me out side of work. I've warned him that I'm not remotely the same person at work that I am outside of work. He's not to discuss it with my family. My first day job is to scare the S$%t out of them so they don't die in the first week. The guys get them for about 3 days after that. They are much easier on them. Getting them into the swing of things. I get them after that for a while, but I'm much easier on them at this point. This is when I recommend that we keep or drop them. It's very important that they question and or refuse to do some of the things I ask them to do at this point. I will try and get them to do things they know are dangerous and potentially life ending. They will be perfectly safe because it's all set up beforehand, but they need to be able think for themselves and question someone in authority. This works incredibly well. Plus I usually get to pick the name they'll be known by for the next 20 or so years. I hope they all make it, but I'm going to lean on them pretty hard.
