A stroked 440. Now a 505. He talked to the guy and the guy will give him his money back on the short block as long as he returns the short block. To be honest, the guy has absolutely no idea what's happened to it since we got it. I'm shocked, but done working on it. Kind of a crappy deal for everyone. I don't know the guy that did the work. He thought my guy was high. He wants his number now.

It spent most of it's time in a heated basement.

My dumb a$% told a friend I'd help him with his car project. It was supposed to take 6 months. It's over 3 years later and I've had his project taking up 2 1/2 of my 3 bay shop. I've had to do everything that's been done to the car. I did refuse to build the transmission or the engine. I got sick of it sitting there so I decided I had to get it running. I have 200 free hours in it anyway so what's 25 more. I got to the point of adding fluids and this happens. Of course the engine builder said it was fine when it left his shop. At this point, burning down the shop is a strong consideration. I think I finally learned my lesson.

I had 5 deer and zero coyotes all day.

I'll be honest, if someone dropped napalm on several hundred antifa, I'd be concerned about the business nearby catching on fire.

Rifle not sighted in after coming off lead sled?
Alleycat72 replied to IggyBcool's topic in Long Guns
Of course. Horrible tool. Only way it works is if you only shoot the rifle with it strapped on 100% of the time. -
Observation rounds is what I want. 308 please.

Jack Posobiec may be the source of this. I know nothing of him. He could be a nut job or the 100% legit. Make your own decision on that.

Oh yes they would. I've been on several trials where a guy stood outside of the non-sound proofed door. I was on a trial where I called a guy an A#$ hole because he wanted to convict a black girl for defending herself when a white girl attacked her with a knife. The guy at the door knew it got heated and let it be known. That being said, my co-worker could still be full of it.

A coworker said that 2 people were holding everything up because they are afraid of what the public will do. I'm trying to find out if this is true. I have a hard time believing that would get out, but don't doubt it's on their mind.

It was for destroying the electronics in a hard target, but whatever.

Years ago I had a guy threatening me on a form. He thought he was safe, but he used the same screen name everywhere. With in 2 hours I had his name, address, work location, wife and kids names, what school the kids attended, and pictures. I took it a bit far through. He started off as the problem, but I sent him a care package to his work with a note. That made me an ass. At that point in my life I felt like I had to attack every threat. We decided it would be best to drop the whole thing.

The future of firearms and because I love the Ember War books.

Come to think about it, I believe I've seen more guns explode than caps and for the same reason. -

I have. They called gas engines explosion motors at the end of the steam engine car era. Technology just hasn't 100% got there. Caps blow less than batteries. A cap usually pops because someone installed it backwards......usually..... -

Having a battery in with the mag that runs capacitors would be the ticket. In an equivalent of a bolt gun that will fire once every second at 3000 fps accurately would be fantastic. I just wonder what guys thought about smokeless powder after shooting black powder their entire life. The big thing is, what are these guns going to be capable of in 5 to 10 years? In the books they fired dart type projectiles similar to a tank sabot round only smaller. -
What's your muzzleloader setup this season?
Alleycat72 replied to Quavodus's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
They can. They also give you coke can size holes on the off side. You have to realize that they have more horsepower than a 338 Lapua. They do not have the BC of the 338 though. -
On the ones I was on, the answers were very limited to what was in the trial. No new information only clarification for the judges instructions. I've only been in court about 12 times and only one was a murder trial so....

Baldwin shoots two on movie set, accidental misfire???
Alleycat72 replied to TennesseeCamper's topic in General Chat
I've had LEOs shooting at the house several times and I'll say this.....as a whole, they are over confident in their ability. Some of them take it very seriously and are extremely good shots. -
The only thing he did wrong was pull that last shot a little to the left.

Alleycat72 replied to Quavodus's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
It depends on what you consider a modern muzzleloader. I'm running a 275 arrowhead bullet at 2850. I zero at 200 yards. My MZ is not your normal muzzleloader though. -

I let a good 8pt walk. Probably a mistake.
