  1. People follow the laws they agree with and disregard the ones they don't. Doesn't matter what your political affiliation is.
  2. https://youtu.be/Bbs1jxL_lQA
  3. We just started working with it. The attractive part is that it's very efficient in a 12 barrel with supers. We are constantly getting in and out of vehicles and once you put a 7-9" suppessor on a gun it gets unwieldy. It could fix some of those issues, but it's not perfect. It doesn't have enough case capacity for trail boss, but too much for 1680. N32c on the other hand looks promising, but impossible to get. With the bullets that are out now, you'll need to be more careful shooting it in populated area. May like to ricochet. I'm looking at the Jtac elf owl and SBRing it.
  4. That's not a bad deal.
  5. The new N-vision 50mm XRF showed up yesterday. I put it on the Seekins 223 wylde for a test run. Love it so far. It is a bit heavy. Heading to Texas as soon as the Dr says I can go to war with thr hogs again. We'll be taking an 8.6 blackout this time. I'll be running one of two 308s.
  6. I would shoot every day if that happened to me. Without a suppressor of course. I have told my neighbors if they had a day they don't want to listen to gun fire, just call and let me know. I'm usually suppressed, but a few LEOs will stop by and zero guns sometimes. The do always call first. We shoot loud guns maybe 10 times a year, so not excessive. Suppressed is about twice a month.
  7. My favorite is the 7mm rsum.
  8. You need a reloading manual asap. Having a buddy show you how to load is good, a manual is better if you're new.
  9. Some will run undersized bullets and some will not. The longer bullets seem to work better when you're doing this however twist becomes an issue and some point.
  10. I have a 20 year old kid that's itching to go. If I take him, I'll want him to be able to shoot. He'd be happy just to carry the gear, but i just wouldn't feel good about it.
  11. Yeah, I have a guy who's dad owns a gun manufacturer everyone here has heard of wanting to go now. They are waiting on the what the Dr says in 2 weeks. I may go and just run the hand held. I got guy that will carry the gun and trypod, but I hate putting someone out like that. 22 hours of riding in a truck just to carry my stuff.
  12. One of two things would happen 1: They would have had to shoot me. 2: Two I would have gotten my Wife out. I would probably be dead or going to prison but I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I didn't do it.
  13. I think Kings have some spm Rob.
  14. Town is more like the outskirts of small towns. Lots of houses, but outside of any city limits.
  15. I'll be good. I did weigh all the rifles prior to the surgery. They are all a no-go for at least 2 weeks. I have a couple of guys that offered to carry my gear and set it up if I'll run the gun. They are a pain in the arus sometimes, but you can't beat beat them.
  16. And the crew keeps texting wanting to know when they can put a rifle back in my hands. LOL Some people's children.
  17. 308 is my main night cartridge. I've shot a staggering amount of 308. It's biggest problem is that it's not sexy anymore. For hunting, my cut-off is 450 yards. Most bullets break the 1800 fps barrier at that point. I've done quite a bit of 1k yard target shooting with it also. If I'm shooting in town I do fall back to the 5.56 for safety reasons.
  18. A bit of a tip: a flat bottom boat with a small engine will greatly increase your chances on public land.
  19. About two years ago, I realized I didn't own a single conventional deer rifle.
  20. Hot for bow. Lots of insects Cool mornings and warm evenings muzzleloader. Cool to cold for rifle. Rain will taper off by then and expect ice more than snow.
