As long as it's illegal to murder the wicked there has to be a moral line in the sand drawn. The question is where and who's moral compass? In fact making murder illegal is a law based on morality. In some cultures, using kids for sexual gratification is acceptable. Do we stand and let those cultures practice that in this country because "you can't legislate morality"? Those who agree with a law will follow and those who disagree will break the law. It's always been that way. Laws are not always there to punish the one that broke the law but to protect them. A good man is capable of terrible things if left without any other options. As for myself, I don't want my kids around the priest or the perverted. I also don't want the priest or perverted making my laws.

You can shut down a bank with the push of a button. Well several keys on a keyboard to be more precise. -

I mean honestly the cops couldn't physically pick her up. It would be the same if it was 330 lb muscle bound weightlifter. -

She's a big lady. They had problems lifting her into the truck. When they did get her in she got herself out. Probably would have gone down differently if she'd been a 17 to 50 year old man. I will say they used unprofessional language that wasn't called for. I understand their frustration and people talk to police like they are dogs, but police need to maintain professionalism. I couldn't do it. Except for language, what should they have done differently? Should they tell all of the doctors in both hospitals..." Hey I know you guys have PhDs, but I'm a cop and I'm more qualified in the medical field than you" Educate me. I've been wrong before and I will again, but the arguments seem emotionally based. You're the cop What would you do. -

This is a hospital issue. Two hospitals released her and the police were called. They have no reason to believe both hospitals were wrong and she acted just like a drug seeker. She just so happened to have a real medical problem. There may or may not also be some history that we don't know about. I expect the police to take someone in need to a hospital, but in this case she had just been to two. How many hospitals do we want the cops visit in a case like this? It's a damned if you do and damned if you don't for them in a case like this. -
People will just resort to bartering. Of course somethings can't be handled that way.

The whole point to it would be taxes. If I sell you something, the government will be able to add sales tax. I would be taxed on any profit.

What's everyone's thoughts on the Baretta A300? Not many in the wild yet, but it looks like a cool shotgun. I'm interested is seeing how it stacks up to the 1301.

There were plenty of people that hated me for being white when I was growing up. They still do. I was told only white people are racist. Everyone else has a right to hate me. My father hated everything that wasn't white and male. I refused to be that way out of spite for my father. The first time he beat me like a man was at 14 for standing up to him over a non white friend. My kids never knew my father because of his actions and beliefs. They will never get the chance because his attacks on my mother and myself. Funny thing was my father was only 75% white. A fact my adopted a$$ would bring up every time he tried to knock my teeth out. Most all humans suck and my children believe as I do....get to know someone before you decide to hate them and hate all humans equally. If your comment wasn't directed at me, ....sorry. If it was you can go F yourself.

My oldest boy came home from school one day freaking out. He explained to me that there are people that hate others because they were a different color. He had learned it in school that day. He was 11 and hadn't even realized my best friend was married to someone that was a different race and his kids were biracial. My buddies race is not the easiest person to catalog or put in a box when it comes to race. We have just never made race a issue in my household. My boy learned to categorized people in school. I was beyond pissed.

My son had to do a school project for 5th grade for black history month. The project was a bottle buddy. Basically put a styrofoam ball on the top and paint it the appropriate skin tone for the person you are trying to recreate. After that you add clothes, hair, and anything else it would need. The individual had to be "a famous African American". My suggestion was Thomas Sowell or Dave Chappelle, but I was overruled. It just seems a little odd for a bunch of white kids (and parents) figuring out the right color of paint for the skin tone without losing our jobs in a week if we get it wrong. The link below is an example. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/335236765992031111/
