The amount of people on the road is amazing
  4. I have someone that 100% will not carry a 38 revolver because that's what women carry. I explained all the pitfalls and she practiced. She's cleared 100s of stovepipes and dead rounds to the point she expects evary round to fail. It was a PITA. Be careful how you word things. I'm 100% at fault for that one. She however is an absolute beast with a firearm now. I would not want to be someone she feels is a threat.
  5. If I where going that short, I'd just go to an 8" 300 blk.
  6. I'll give you a brief rundown. Two groups of bad people who ruled over people who just wanted to be left alone. Fought a war against bad people who ruled over people who just wanted to be left alone. One group won. That group wrote the history that showed the other group was bad and they were good. A few hundred/thousand years later the group that wrote history is now saying they were bad and the other bad group was good. Apply this to any conflict you choose.
  7. The Wife has been sick. Kinda rare for her. She's a lead nurse and is around all kinds of nastys 24-7. She has great immunity, but she got got this time.
  8. I always clean before sizing. I also run the brass through the Dillon with only a decapping die in it first. I will clean after all case sizing and prep work is done also. Everything else depends on what I'm loading and what it's for. Hunting, match, semiauto, bolt, supersonic, or subsonic. I'll do this for 20 rounds or 1500 rounds. It all gets done a few weeks ahead of time. They'll get a 30 minute run in the oven at about 150° and then get to hang out with the dehumidifier for at least 2 weeks. That room stays at 45%.
  9. Got one. Could use some smaller bottles with screw on caps. 750 ml or growlers.
  10. Making wine and mead.
  11. Need a few carboys around the Columbia area.
  12. I've got some of those downstairs. LOL
  13. I actually did a 3/16 thick mailbox and welded up a 3/16 thick 4x4 steel pole. I put concrete in the pole, but not the mailbox. I was hit by a car once a messed up every panel on that side of the car. I had to clean the silver paint of the mailbox and paint about 1-2 square inches of it. Never had any other problems. This was after I fixed the initial vandalism issue. I didn't burn anyone's car down, but it did involve a tow truck. LOL
  14. In all fairness, you did bring up the grenade. I did something similar, but it triggered a camera pre cell camera days.
  15. Engine block is always on the table. LOL
  16. They'd have to admit to multiple federal crimes to help the police find out who did it. No down side. Kinda like braking the arms of a pedophile.
  17. I didn't say the guy would have to be in the vehicle
  18. Put a cell camera next to it. Find out who it is. Burn their car/truck to the ground around 1 month later. Keep your mouth shut about it. Enjoy your 5 year old mailbox 5 years later.
  19. I love hunting my own land. No license and no orange required. You do have to check the deer or turkey in under land owner so knowing your plot and parsel numbers are a must.
  20. If you're not actively hunting, there is nothing they can legally do. If you are deer hunting out of session, they can.
  21. I've heard my whole life that you need to carry a cheap gun because the police will take the gun if you shoot. A buddy just went through this a couple of years ago and the gun was only gone for about a week.
  22. I got a Dillon several years ago and I just figured I was supposed to use it. I have ammo cans in the pantry it got so bad. I slowed way down when primers got hard to find. The only problem is carry ammo. I don't carry hand loads in my handgun. I need a few cases of factory loads now. My fighting rifle does have hand loads, but if that comes out and I'm on the bang switch.....we are way past worrying about defending the use of hand loads in a court of law.
