This happens with the TWRA. They get a very small portion of any fine. I do not believe the rest goes for wildlife "stuff" though. Any fine a company gets should be used to offset the costs of illegal aliens. Schools, hospitals, victims of crimes, and such.

Last night they had to explain were babies come from. Tonight they had to explain how you get STDs and how to prevent them. I pulled out the condoms and said "show me". They looked horrified. I probably should have pulled out the bananas first.

A"The road" was a good book. It made you ask the question...if it came down to if your family dies or your family lives and you neighbors die ....what would you do? You end up feeling dirty no matter your decision.

Every house I have owned is just off the top of a hill in a choke point. In fact, the house I live in now had a battle fought from just above it's position. It would be a nightmare to attack if I had normal wepons. If I were to have wepons that were....lets say...more advanced the the average farmer than it would take an air strike. There a 3 ways to attack my home. Two put you in a kill box. The third would set you up for IEDs. The 4th (LOL) is where I would be set up for, but if you found that...you would be more than a cop and I can cover the entire property from that position. I've read One Second After also.

I use tingley boot covers. They are fantastic, but they are provided free so I have no idea the cost. I use a small plastic bag when I slide them on over my normal steel toe boots. I can maneuver on solid ice exactly the same as dry asphalt.

His 1# issue is his kids. Everything else is secondary. I respect that. I would rather my kids hate me at Harvard rather than love me from the trailer park.

So normally I have no issues in this area, but for some reason (probably because of his kids) I am having a hard time telling a friend he is slacking. He's already demonstrated his ability to affectively "hide the truth". However he doesn't do this when someone else is affected. I got him a job when he was in need, but hes in the bottom 40%. The company is not used to me recommending people and the first guy was someone the company was.....stunned and amazed at. The company will take someone no question asked if i recommend them. I had some reservations with this friend, but he is in a bad place and trying to get out. Do I destroy a friendship and guarantee his kids are taken care of " this assumes he takes the advise " by telling him he needs to get his s$%t together or do I stay out of it and possibly allow mom and step dad to take care of the kids future?

She has been stuck in the house for 4 days with 4 kids who were also stuck at the house. I guess it came down to who would file first. LOL

Just got back from 4 days away at work and the Wife a 2 of the kids take my Jeep and my cold weather gear and leave the house. LOL.

My Wife has been loading wood in the upstairs fireplace and downstairs wood stove while I've be working in the snow. I this she was under the impression it was something I liked doing. LOL I mentioned I had to cut it down, split it by hand, stack it, and bring it in the house. Probably not the best decision to bring that up. LOL

Only 5 more hours of work. LOL
