Naw, dog. That makes to much sense. A good used Glock can be found at reasonable prices.

TAURUS SPECTRUM 380 - Picked Up De 23 (Traded Hi-Point)
felinesNfreedom replied to a topic in Handguns
I know I'm harping on your spectrum but get rid of it. Continued issues after " repairs" and Two FTF again.... sure it went off the second time but that's nothing to be proud of. I know you spoke of getting the hi point, I would trust that thing over the Taurus. LCP's are really cheap now, that would be an upgrade and If you can spend 250.00 get the Ruger EC9S. -
Yeah, solid pass on the Spectrum.

Sounds like a great gun. Good luck with it. -
Just a heads up, On target in Murfreesboro has their 5.45 on clearance at 3.75 a box for wolf and WPA for 4.99 I think.... I picked up 500 rounds of the black box wolf today.

If you did not show up in cut off jean shorts and a wife beater I'm disappointed. A bull-pup hi point screams Bubba, Embrace the stereotype!

The 43X is the sweet spot to me with that size gun. I'm not looking for the longer sight radius the the 48 in a gun like that. I really wanted to dislike those two guns but after we got them in and I held them I really liked them. I will add the X to my collection at some point. I do have a friend who owns the 48, it is a solid shooter.

That's common. A lot of the people showing up for class have shot once or never and have a new gun. I can't tell you how many people come in buy a gun and tell me they are taking their class the next day. Sad thing is a lot of people think that the class is " training" and they never shoot/train again, or maybe 100 rounds a year.

The cut out drives me nuts! Saying that, I ordered my Gen 5 19 in December because I prefer the gen 5 trigger and slide finish.

Kriss Vector Gen 2 pistol build work in progress...

Love it. The 10mm version in on my short list. I love the fact they now make all the mag extenders for the glock mags. -
Anyone else think that the Cholula hot sauce taste different from a year or so ago? I made the switch to Valentina hot sauce after the Cholula tasted different to me. It's cheap and pretty tasty, plus they have an extra hot.

It feels really good to me. I shoot AK's more than anything so the low sight works well for me. The gun comes up on point pretty quickly and is balanced pretty well so it transitions quickly. The red dot co witness's perfectly with the irons, it's spot on. You are welcome to shoot it anytime you want if you are interested in getting one.

Pics are uploaded for you. I can do more if needed

I agree. I think you should be able to remain anonymous if you want to. If I had to announce it would be done under a trust so I could stay out of the spotlight as much as possible.

I can try later. I can't figure out how to post pictures anymore. The upload says my max total size is 0.01MB

I've had one on my Scorpion Evo for a couple years now. It's been solid the whole time. I'm with BTQ probably not putting one on my "Fighting rifle" but a solid option for shooters.

My problem is the quality control. I hear it all the time "Mine has been flawless, all 100 rounds I've shot". Taurus to me is a true roll of the dice, if you get one that works they tend to work well but I just don't feel comfortable hoping I get a good gun. At our store we probably average 2 warranty returns a week I bet, hell had 4 in the safe a couple weeks back waiting to be sent off. I also think that there are plenty of good firearms just a tad over the price of a Taurus if you look around. I never thought I would be a big Glock fan but that's what I have become, All my handguns are Glock minus the one H&K. In the 6 years the store has been open we've never sent one Glock back for repair.
