  1. I think this comment is made in jest. Hell, with Trump in office we may not have to worry about dems pushing to ban anything.... most things may already be gone by the time they are in office again.
  2. 10 Bulgarian AK mags two weeks ago 10 Steel AR mags this week picking up another 10 AK mags this Friday from a guy. I also have another brace coming to me tomorrow from Primary Arms. I've ordered a few lowers over the last couple months too. Currently working on getting some new body armor, mines old.
  3. You guys complaining about shooting an AR pistol obviously have not shot one with an SBA3 or SBA4. I've stopped building/buying 16" guns. My last AR was a 11.5 BCM gun with a SBA3 on it. They are every bit as comfortable to shoot as a 16" gun. I will admit the 7.5 AR is useless, 10.5 is as short as you want to go and still get decent ballistics. I've got a 14.5 PSA Premium that's about to get tossed on my Aero pistol lower so I can run my can on it without having to worry about ATF rules. Let us not forget that when they came for the bump stocks people echoed the same thing, they are stupid, don't serve a purpose they are just a novelty. AR pistols could be next, that's huge. Wait till they come after mags, you guys going to echo the same words about 30 round mags? Who needs 30 rounds, 10 rounders will be just fine. The slope has been greased and we are starting to slip down it.
  4. I think it depends on the born on date of the 365. If it's newer i like it. If it's an older one with potential issues the HK is a good gun. I've got a full size VP and it's a good shooter, really nice trigger and probably the best grip feel of all my guns.
  5. I will have one of those this fall. I will also spend way to much money setting it up with an optic too.
  6. I've got probably two weeks on Mountain house on hand plus some canned foods from the garden. I don't keep much water in the house other than one pack of bottled. I know water is important but I figure I live close enough to the river I could use that if needed.
  7. I've had one for a few years now. It's been a fine plinking optic.
  8. Maybe shoot a few more rounds through it but I would not hesitate to send it back to Sig. The 365 has had issues since they released it. I was hoping the new ones had everything worked out because I would like to add one to my collection.
  9. The new owner or On Target owns a company that builds/sells AR's, somewhere in Georgia. Most of what you see on the walls are their in house builds they are pushing. I spoke with him shortly after they opened the store back up and he seems like a decent guy, proud of his AR's and cerakote business. Like Dave said earlier I think it would be tough to own a retail gun shop and stay open. I'm sure the range keeps them afloat mostly. The margin on most guns are so low it's hard to live off that alone. Hopefully they do well, been there for what feels like forever now. They also have my suppressor so I need them to keep the doors open long enough for my approval or Trump to ban them.
  10. those are some solid Reds.
  11. Here is my 74 I did a month or so ago.
  12. I forgot all about that sticker.
  13. They do. Glad they cleared that up for everyone
  14. Yep, With a bunch of 5.56 holes to help him come to room temperature. I hear people all the time talk about just trying to scare someone out of their house..... Man, if they are in my house uninvited that's more than enough reason for me to protect my family. God only knows what that person is capable of.
  15. I think they have that stamped on them and a "grab here" area too.
  16. Terrible trigger. Gritty, heavy, horrible. We always check triggers on new guns and that one takes the cake.
  17. No, Free state. Valid ID and pass the background check, that's all you need. Walk out with your gun within a hour usually. You can carry your gun in your car loaded without a license too. If you want it on you in public you will need to get a carry permit.
  18. Model paint and a tooth pick work well.
  19. I do not know much about their handguns but it they are anything like the I.O. AK's I would stay far far away. I.O. Has one of the worst reputations in the business, even below Century's US builds I.O. reputation is so bad in the AK world they stopped making them and now manufacture AR's and parts for AR'S.......I would pick up the LCP if that's what you are going for. I do recommend a 500 round or so break in for small guns like that but I also believe like Mac said is that Zero malfunctions are normal in a quality handgun, first round or 1000th round.
  20. It's not a bad gig. decent discount from Academy and you also have access to Industry only deals, those are the sweet ones.
  21. There have been those times....
  22. We don't sell a bunch of the revolvers but I don't think I have seen one of those come back for repair. The G2C and PT111 get sent back the most at out store, we also sell a ton of those at the store. Taurus has been a good run of late, I've not seen one in a couple weeks sent back. Had one guy send the same LCP back for the third time I'm surprised how few Smith SD9 and 40's get sent back, it's a cheap gun too. I work part time at a local Academy, Fishing and firearms can be two expensive hobbies Edit: If I owned a gun store I would sell Taurus, YUGE margin compared to other firearms.
  23. So not a bunch of rounds through the guns. Out of all the guns we sell, Taurus gets send off for repairs the most. Most of my Glocks have stock sights so they are plastic, It does not really bother me to much. I did just swap out the sights on my 19X and noticed a nice chunk missing from the rear sight where I must have dropped it at some point.
  24. How many rounds through the guns?
  25. That's what I try to explain to people when they come in to buy them. It's truly a roll of the dice on how yours will turn out.
