Anyone ever put down a floating hardwood floor?
felinesNfreedom replied to Volzfan's topic in General Chat
I have installed about 4 floors with it myself. I'm a project manager for a restoration company in town and we install a lot of the floating floors and they look good. The hardest part is around the door jambs and also just getting it started. If it's a square room once you get started it's a piece of cake. Make sure you have a Circular saw, jamb saw, dead blow hammer and tap block. Also buy a decent product, you get what you pay for. Oh and don't forget the underlayment it will help with sound. -
I had a friend tell me about these guys, said they were great to deal with. I will be checking it out saturday.

So I just found out the my neighbor has video cameras around his property and caught the guys breaking into his truck last night. So we have pictures of both young guys... I am only guessing that they are the same people but it seems like a good chance they are the same people since he is a couple houses down,

heys guys, the last 3 serial numbers are 846 and it's a brown frame black slide pf-9. The cops have everything they need and like I said I am not expecting to ever see it again, I usually take it in but the wife and I brought in groceries last night and I forget to grab it. It was just perfect timing for who ever took it, my doors are always locked and I usally leave nothing but the GPS in the truck ..... except for last night. Lesson learned.
-
So I found out this morning that my truck was broken into last night and my GPS and Keltec are missing.. I called the sheriffs office and took care of everything with them. Apparently they have busted some kids in a neighborhood close to mine a couple of times with stolen merchandise before and the officer felt confident that it was them. I take it that if they try and sell it to a pawn shop it will show up stolen??? I don't expect to ever see it again but it would be a pleasant suprise if it was found. This happened in the southern area of murfreesboro by the way.

That has to be one of the best translations ever. Good job sir

I have one of the pt 1911AR and love mine. I have a couple thousand rounds through it and I have never had a problem. I hope they get it fixed for you.

Parkerson construction, 615-898-8282. They are based out of Murfreesboro and I have been working with them for about 3 years now. I enjoy working with them and think they do very good work.

I pocket carry my PF-9 and don't mind it at all. I love the thin small frame of it and it shoots a 9mm round which I feel more comfortable with over other small calibers. I will admit that the keltec is not a gun I take to the range to shoot for pleasure but it gets the job done and unlike some I have had no problems out of mine at all. It's a nice alternative for when I don't want my 1911 on me.

thats my feed ramp. It's kind of hard to see but at the bottoms of the ramps there are little dings from where rounds have jammed. And yes I know it's dirty at the moment So do you guys think maybe it's the magazine and not my rifle?
-
..... In 7.62x39 and every now and again I have feeding issues the round will jamb into the feed ramp. I thought to problem was the C products mag but after reading your comment about the feed ramp I bet thats my issue. I have a J&T / Doublestar.

LA did you do the feed ramp work or have someone else do it? I have an AR

I know this is a bit off topic but I have a good friend that refuses to carry one in the pipe. He does not feel safe with his glock loaded....... I am with you guys I do not see the point of having a weapon on you unless it's ready to rock and roll. -
I have a good friend that moved from memphis to atlanta I figure the next step is Detroit.... The only time I have ever had to show my weapon is in atlanta. Caster one good thing about atlanta is the food. If you are in southern atlanta and what good breakfast try the flying biscuit the gravy and biscuit is amazing and then sunshine in my belly has a great pimento cheese bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich.

Surefire batteries locally?
felinesNfreedom replied to DaveTN's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I have them at my lowe's for about 4 dollars a 2 pack I think. I will have to check that price when I go to work tomorrow I need some for my Weapon light anyways. -
Wow, man I hate to hear that I can't believe it went as far as having cops waiting on you. I have been in that mall a few times and never seen a gun busters sign. I am going to have to go check it out tomorrow while I am out and about.
-
Does anyone know if they keep them in stock at that price all the time..... if so I may be driving down to tullahoma.

I have read the first 5 graphic novels so some of this I know is coming. I will say they have switched up the story line so it does not fill like the same story for the most part. I knew carl was going to get shot when I saw him walking towards the deer, it's in the books but carl also shoots shane early on in the books to but I am glad they have not followed that part of it it seems to add to the story more. I guess we will see how much more they stick to the books with the upcoming farm story in the next few episodes.

I have a 7.62 AR.... it was my first AR and knowing what I know now I would have just got an AK. I had to buy an after market bolt just to get the thing to fire reliably. Mags cost much more, I only by C products. I have had no feed issues with mine though and it's nice to dress up the platform and shoot cheap ammo but an AK would have been cheaper and worked much better I think .

Hey guys, I wanted to ask if anyone knew of a good gunsmith around murfreesboro. My Ithaca shotgun is failing to eject shells and just not wanting to pump at all and I need help fixing it. Thanks

I switched 6 years ago and have never looked back. I have a mac book pro and have had no problems out of it at all. It's the first gen intel based platform.
