No experience with the 709 but I owned a 1911 and PT140 for years and both were great guns. The 1911 ran flawlessly no matter what grade of ammo I put into it. 

I live in south Rutherford County. I always liked Murfreesboro but traffic is terrible. The city waited too long to try and work on the infrastructure and now it's a big Cluster F! Crime seems to be fine, I live in the county in a nice older neighborhood, 90's era. I know we have some spots in the city that have always been crime areas but I just stay away from them. I fish and living here puts me 30 minutes to Priest and within 45 to Tims Ford, Normandy and Woods.

    That does not suprise me and I am sure it was the same with outpost, it was just the way he went about it. His attitude was piss poor. Here's to hoping the new ownership makes it even better.

    Quit showing off :bored:   I have had mixed experiences with the outpost. I purchased my M&P from them last year after they voluntered to give me the sale price that expired a week or so before, with tax it was the same price as buds. I have also been there when the guy behind the counter wanted to argue about their over priced WASR  with me. It did not have a price tag so I asked and he told me what they wanted for it and asked how many I would like to have.... told him none at that price becuase I could get them online for a way less. He did not believe me and wanted me to show him the website. I showed him and he said that it looks like they should be ordering from them because they are selling them cheaper than he can buy them for. He was a bit of an ass even before that.

Dang, that's a lot of work done :) You still get out and use it often? I had to replace my lower unit last year, it was the original one from the factory.

Good deal. What did you have done to it?  Mine's not been in the water since easter, hooked the muffs up Sunday and let it run for a bit to make sure all was good. That motor still impresses me to this day. 93 Johnson fast strike, not started in months and fired up on the 3rd turn.
