  1. NO, NO, NO!!!!!! That's terrible.
  2.     HA! Thought the same thing
  3. I'm with you OS, slow start and tough to watch at first. It got better and I think it should be good. I like the idea of them showing more of the collapse of society and the riots and reaction to loss of power and communication. The kid did get on my nerves.
  4.     No. but complete enough for me. If you watch the walking dead you know that sights are not required to make head shots!
  5. I just ( as of 9:30 ) built a new complete rifle from PSA for 431.46, shipping included. Damn!

  7.     Yep, plus the real time updates, not all correct but no media is. First thing I do in the morning is get a cup of coffee and scroll through my twitter feed to see what I missed over night. It's not all for news, I follow a lot of people in the fishing industry and the sports world too. I rarely turn on a news broadcast unless something major is going down.
  8. I like twitter for breaking news.
  9. I've got a milled Bulgarian AK. It's heavier than my friends stamped but I like it. The pain in th Arse part is finidng any furniture for it. Mine is a double tang so I have about two options for any type of stock other than wood, neither of them are cheap.
  10. Because I believe that bullets to any part of this paper are good shots on target :) A lot to the everywhere aproach.

  12.       If you don't do it right you will know immediately. It will be sour and actually green. The fan just keeps are moving, no filter. My mom, who is a butcher :) used to have a guy work for her that would do a dry age in his fridge, not the greatest idea. He would only do it for 4-7 days but that's still dangerous because of multiple reasons. All this steak talk here and the other topic about steak going on I am having her cut me some 2" ribeyes that I plan on grilling this weekend.
  13. You can go much fancier and set up a humidifier in the fridge and salt blocks to add to the effect but it can be pretty simple it seems. The key is keeping the temp at 34 and the humidity around 60 or so, the air flow helps too. Some people don't use fans but it seems like it is needed.
  14. So, I was bored today and started looking into building a Dry age mini fridge. Looks pretty simple and straightforward. Anyone ever try to dry age beef at home before? Here is a link to the style I am looking at building. I am going to put an independent Temp and humidity gauge in the fridge too. From what I have read you have to age beef at least 21+ days to really tell a difference. If I can get a fridge built cheap enough I'm going to give it a shot.         http://www.barbecuebible.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11591
  15. I highly doubt that anything will come of sending a picture to a wrong number. Maybe if you threatened to eat her children, praise be Allah! you might be in trouble.
  16. You should have read the first edition of the article before the edits. Within the first 3 lines the " journalist "  stated the oath keepers were carrying automatic rifles and side arms. He changed the wording to Combat style rifle too, forgot what it was at first.
  17.     One of the local ones here in Murfreesboro. All EBR'S are on sale like another post said on the site. The .308 DPMS is 699.99 I think. You can get up to a 5 round extension that fits on these. The clerk said that if not purchased they would just keep going lower.... no idea how long that takes to drop in price again but I doubt it will stay on the shelf that long.   Edit: Wife is turning in her two weeks notice today (Kind of happened quickly) .... might hold off on purchasing just to be responsible :)
  18. Walmart has these marked down to 399.00. I looked at one today and kind of like it. The only issue I have is the short tube, stock it hold 4+1. Anyone have any experience with these? I'm thinking about picking one up before they sell out.
  19.   That's pretty funny. I have another one building a web on the outside of my deck in my tree. I am good with it as long as he stays there.
  20. I think it's a brown orb weaver or a make you take your shirt off and scream like a little girl spider :panic:     I ran into one last week on my deck, left the porch light on and he made a nice web right outside my door.
  21. I am a Rare to medium rare guy. My wife has slowly started to go from well to Medium or Medium well..... only took 6 years of marriage. I argued with her one night we went out and she wanted to order a fillet, Well done! She did it against my protest, sad day.
  22. I'm getting ready to order a PT 845. Trying to wait out the blems at KYGun co and get one for 230 bucks. I would also like to get the wife a PT 111 from Kygun Co for 198.00. I've owned multiple Taurus guns over the years and have nothing but good things to say. The 1911 I owned was great, ate everything I fed it and was way more accurate than I was.
  23. I'm in again. I'm good for anything up to 50 bucks. 16 teams could fund a pistol for both first and second.
  24. Yep, police chased one car right by my office in Murfreesboro. A couple guys from work got caught in the middle of it while driving back from lunch.
  25.     I was about to ask, say what....... then I scrolled down and got a good chuckle!
