It could work. I would want to set up a barricade with cars around the property to keep people from just driving up. I don't know what the chances of finding enough cars to cover an area like a racetrack are. It's a really large area to secure. Other than the population in towns I have always liked the idea of Lowe's. I worked at the one here in Murfreesboro and you could easily fortify it and grow food in both the greenhouse and outside garden areas. Large Cat generator out back with a secured fenced in area. Water source right behind the building, Deer all over the place. Sams and walmart within 2 miles.

I have never used the Motor oil but like the Lucas Red N Tacky #2. I have used it on the AK and 1911 for a couple years. Started using the Lucas gun lube they make now, good stuff. Thinner than the RedNtacky but still sticks to everything really well.

Yeah, shipped from Knoxville, thought it was strange too. I know the hub is in Memphis but when I live 35 minutes south of Nashville it just amazes me they can't ship it to Murfreesboro for delivery.

   I forget about that. I have 3 friends families that moved from Michigan to work in the auto industry and heat treat industry here. Hell, my great grandfather and his family were steel workers in Pittsburgh. 

  I'm with you. It's only going to pop up a couple times a year but should last for many years to come.
