  1. Semi, 16 rounds of 9mm ( Glock 43X ) is greater than 5 rounds of what ever. If you are having issues out of a semi auto you probably bought a crap pistol. All handguns can break, revolvers included. Take off the handle of your revolver and look at the moving parts inside.
  2. Very true. This guy has no problem dropping cash on gear. Main rifle is a KAC sr15, multiple cans and all that. I've told him to sell one or two rifles and buy nods.
  3. Man, I have tried selling that for you a couple times. I've got a friend who wants to get into night vision.
  4. Night vision is not for the faint of heart. It's expensive, expect to spend 4 or 5 grand on a kit. It is pretty neat to be able to see in the dark.
  5. They work if you work. It's not a magical pill that's going to make you lose weight if you are eating double cheeseburgers and fries for every meal. Years ago I got pretty heavy in my mind, kind of like i am now. The last year or so has been bad to me I'm up almost 40 pounds over where I would like to be. Anyways, I used a thermogenic fat burner along with eating well and exercise and lost a ton of weight. I went from 260 back to around 215 in no time at all. I was running 5 miles or more every day and doing some light lifting. If you have a caffeine sensitivity they are not for you, you will gain more energy from them and I actually had better focus while on them. I actually just felt better mentally while on them too, maybe it was the eating right and exercising Basically if you need something to get you over the hump and get going it will work for you.
  6. Sounds like a mag issue, Usually when rounds stick up at that angle it's a feeding issue. switch back to factory mags and I bet you don't have that problem. In my almost 6 years of selling guns we've not had to send a Glock back for repair. I would be surprised if it was the gun.
  7. Since we have moved on to this being a truck post. I need the used market to calm it's tits so I can buy a Tundra over the next 6 months. I'm looking for something 2015 or newer. I've got a 2004 F150 now but would like to go back to Toyota if the price would allow it. I've found some with the price right but those were not 4X4. Erick, that's a sweet truck.
  8. There are a lot of better rifles out there at the price point they sell the Saints at. From my 5 years at the gun counter I have realized most people have no clue what they are buying. Most people do no research when purchasing a firearm, just amazes me.
  9. If you don't feel sick why get tested? Unless work requires it due to exposure. My office was doing that at first but we stopped that many months ago. I think I had 4 test before we swapped to if you feel sick get tested method.
  10. yes
  11. If he's worth 400 million bucks and looks like her, Ehh maybe. I could go for a sugar they/them. Got to make sure we are inclusive around here these days.
  12. This, thank you. I think they make solid rifles. Express, You mentioned a retro model 99. I have one is 300 savage and it's a cool rifle. I think with the love of retro rifles currently they would have sold way more Model 99's, especially is modern calibers than any pistol they will make.
  13. It won't be successful. They will sell some because people don't know better or just want to see what's it is about.
  14. Wait, You're just now finding men attractive?
  15. I truly do not understand why companies decide to release something like this. It's just like when Mossberg decided to drop their pistol a couple years back. Focus on what you do well and then innovate in that field. Why make a pistol for a market that is saturated with better options?
  16. No shot, no booster, no mask. I'm guessing I'm probably younger than you guys though and lower risk. I also don't do Flu shots.
  17. Yeah, 200 fish is a terrible trip...... What's the size limit there? We went to the lake of the Ozarks over the summer and caught a bunch of shorts... problem is their minimum is 9". We caught about 70 keepers while there but man are 9" fish small when your used to 12-14" fish. I'm going to Priest Saturday to look for some Crappie. Trolling motor burnt up about two months back and I just got the new one installed. Going to be a lot of riding around scanning trees and brush.
  18. The old guys at our gun counter know jack sh t. We've lost about everyone that actually knew anything over the last year or so. I my self usually stay away from the counter and do other things while I am there. you can only listen to people talk about how great the trash gun is for so long.
  19. Oh yeah, heavily by what I've read. It's pretty lake and I had a good time fishing it. We caught a good amount of smallmouth, 2 over 3lbs
  20. You guys concerned any at all about the water quality on Watts Bar? I fished it earlier this year for a week for bass and was surprised at how many warnings and reports the lake had on the water quality.
  21. Man O Man. Reading some of these comments just hurts my head. You are spot on with this.
  22. When white box goes wrong. People love to hate White box but out of the thousands of rounds I've shot of it I've had one FTF, bad primer out of it.
  23. Damn that's ugly. With money and time it can be restored to it's glory. I always wanted a FAL and then last year I traded for one from a guy. It's built on a Hesse receiver so that puts a sour taste in most peoples mouths. It does have the correct widows peak feed ramps and what little I've shot it it's functioned just fine. It has a new barrel installed in it from DSA and a few new DAS mags with it too. I figure if it craps out I will just get a new Receiver and build it back.
  24. Never has been. Minimum 12 rounds in a carry gun. I carry nothing smaller than 15 rounds.
